This entire project was Wendy's re-introduction to the Kpop industry after her horrible injury suffered at the peak of the Psycho promotions on December 25, 2019. She fell about 8 feet from a platform during rehearsals for one of the year-end award shows. She broke her pelvis, right wrist, and right facial bones, requiring a year of surgeries and rehab. It was very bad. Nobody knew if she could perform again, and there were fears her career was over. When This Rain Stops was about her reaction to her fans support during her rehab, and her comeback. I cried the first 50 times I heard that song. Wendy is a precious flower, and the bond between her and Reveluvs will never be broken.
SM just confirmed that's we'll be getting Wendy's solo comeback as soon as next month. This was Wendy's big hug to all of her fans who waited so patiently for her while she spent most of 2020 recovering from her horrible injuries.
When The Rain Stop is a tribute to all the fans that keep supporting Wendy through her recovery after that horrible injury. One yar absence to recovery from that injury hence the last frame wrote 'Wendy Rain Stops'. Joy once express her anger to what happened to Wendy in a sound recording with fans. Wendy went through that horrible injury and came back with this song and Like Water which has that phrases 'Thank you for believing in me".

Up to this day, i still get emotional looking back to December 2019 (this alone is a trigger) and onwards. We were hurting and fighting all at the same time against SBS who shouldve been held liable but for some reason despite the multiple cases of accidents that night, they got away. They apologized at luvies, but not to Wendy. It was pure BS. Wendy was tooooo kind to even sue. One by one, we learned how she broke her pelvis, cheeks, and even got wired shut. It was hard for us and the members but espcially for Wendy tenfolds for sure. Im just thankful were here now and shes standing well and healthy on stages. No one loves singing more than her. The perfect winter album I never get tired out it. Reveluvs are so fake for making fun of this album and calling it a boring ballad album. It ment so much to her and I think was a perfect way to come back into the industry after the accident. Excited for her comeback which is supposed to be in March! I'm hoping for a more rnb style album but I wouldn't be upset if it was ballads again!
Reveluvs are a hot mess when it comes to Wendy. I've never seen a fandom hate their best vocalist and performer as much as Reveluvs do. They never treat the other members as harsh as they do Wendy. It is like they are jealous and resentful of all her talents instead of embracing it. Red Velvet could be even more popular if they supported Wendy more and let her cook!

Her attention to dynamics, making sure she just doesn't scream for the entire song is the reason why I keep listening to her.
Respect. I must say though, that I am her biggest fan 😁😁😁 The vocals have had me on one for almost 10 years. She sounds amazing. She is also my favorite visual and dancer and rapper in Red Velvet. She can do it all and needs to have more recognition for all her roles in kpop! She can slay everything that she does.

Pat I'm going to do something I've never done before I'm going to comment on a none Twice song/album. Like Water is one of my all-time fav songs (not talking just K-pop) as is Taeyeon's Fine. They should have done them in English and released them in Canada (Wendy was raised there and it would have bleed into American music). Why can't you love me is pure soul, I could hear Whitney singing in that song as well. In truth the red side of Red Velvet hooked me on K-pop. Too bad K-pop doesn't feel about her (and Jihyo) as we do they are both very beautiful young women. Nice reaction.
Most k-pop fans don't care about talent. It is mostly about visuals and catchy dance songs. Wendy is beyond kpop and needs to start acclimating towards a more mature audience, tbh.
