congratulations for the beautiful vehicle. for the instrument display, i recommend the minimized view, which contains all the necessary information. to select via the right knob on the steering wheel in the middle of you. I rarely see this on youtube. but is perfect. I also installed the sunsport cooler cover. is very nice.
Stunning looking car, you’re very lucky to have yours so quickly, I payed my deposit for a GTS in February and still haven’t got a build slot yet, saying that I know they are struggling for parts and was told Bose is one of them, as for the configurator things do come and go but are on the one used at the Porsche Centre, hope you enjoy it
thats insane. I got banned from reddit for asking about my local dealer telling me itd be a 6 month wait time to get an allocation, and once i did the down payment itd be tops 3 months... how df are you still waiting..?
@@RandomYogi007 Tbf to the dealership they did say it would be about 12 months when i ordered it, I have been using the dealership for 12 years and every other car has been about 3 months delivery but unfortunately with what’s going on in the the world most new cars to the UK are experiencing long delays
Thanks mate, I was told by my dealer that the higher you spec the car the quicker it is built, I find that crazy but it worked in my case but should not be a thing 😬
Your car is stunning. Shark Blue is an amazing non-metallic color. I'd do it if I had the courage. I'm building a 2023 GTS right now and you have me reconsidering my SportDesign Side Skirts in body color. That matte black looks really sharp. Congrats on a stunning build. The tone on tone stitching is elegant. Don't worry the deviated stitching thing is over done. Nice job! Exactly, the piano black used by Porsche on the 992 interior is heinous.
@@GMANS_BIKES_CARS interesting. I have a GTS on order and have added a couple of the lightweight package features a la carte, but I skipped the full package because it removes the sound insulation, which for me would make the driving unpleasant over long distances. I checked the lightweight glass option and the full bucket seats with rear seat delete, plus the carbon fiber roof. I find out tomorrow if the build is approved by Porsche. Fingers crossed.
Outstanding spec. Mine, which arrives in 5 weeks is almost identical (less the PCCB, they were not available)! May I ask, where did you get the Euro plate vinyl sticker for the front?
That's really odd, I subscribed for your motorbike vids and you go and buy a car I am contemplating purchasing for my retirement present next year. I have literally tortured myself and my wife for months trying to make my mind up. Do I go naturally aspirated and get the Cayman GT4 or maybe the 718 Spyder GTS as I am not going on track. In a few years you will not be able to get those engines anymore. Do I want manual or PDK? The car I have always wanted since I was a little kid was the 911. I still have my toy 911s to this day. The GTS is my favourite right now apart from there being too much Alcantara and the centre locking wheels can be a pain as you alluded to. There is apparently less turbo lag in the GTS relative to the Carrera S. The bigger turbos maybe help. Here I go again !!! Anyway beautiful car, is it shark blue? The contrasting yellow from the ceramics through to the dials and seat belts looks really nice. I take it you are going to race it with the ceramics? I will probably torture myself until the 992.2 comes out😄
I wanted a pure 911 and not the hybrid version later next year, you have a hard choice to make as the GT4 and Spyder are great cars too! I will do the odd track day but the Ceramic brakes will come into their own in the Alps on the mountain passes as will never fade 😎
Why no manual ? Have you compared it to PDK before ordering? I‘ve heard somewhere that the gear ratio of the manual gearshift is supposed to be quite long, so that in combination with the amount of torque this engine has … more or less only the first three or four gears are usable in reality (?). Generally I prefer manual over automatic in sports cars…but it has to be right with the concept of the respective engine. What’s your opinion/ impression in that specific case with the GTS? Thank you!
I have a bad back and don’t want to have to deal with a clutch, and to me the PDK is absolutely superb! Did a week in the Swiss alps and never once did I think I wish I had a manual car 😜
Lovely car and spec! I was torn between shark blue and arctic grey, went for the latter. One question about your front number plate please. I can see it’s a sticker as opposed to the plastic holder. Did the Porsche dealer put the plastic plate and you got it changed when you had the PPF done, or was it the dealer you requested the sticker from? Thanks
Thanks mate, got the guys to apply the stick on plate after they did the ppf, I left the Porsche dealer with no plate as didn’t want the drill holes the bracket causes 😜
Hi there, lovely car! I’m hopefully taking delivery of mine in the next few weeks (also ordered in Jan so you’ve done well to take delivery so soon!). I really like your front number plate, what is it/where did you buy from?
Hi mate. Cheers! Hope your car comes on time, you will love it! I think my stick on plate came from this place, mines a tiny bit smaller than regular one but not silly small 😜 proplates.co.uk/collections/stick-on-number-plates
looks awesome , didnt really like shark blue till i saw it in the flesh , Miami blue was nice to (discountinued,) ----would look even better with the Aero kit ,,
I have summer P Zeros on my 4 GTS and am swapping them for Michelin Alpin 5 winter tires. I’m in a similar environment to UK winters. Decided against buying a dedicated $10K wheel/tire package for this year.
Yes mate, the P Zeros are not great in cold weather, so far the Goodyear F1’s are feeling ok and it’s getting colder here now so I’ll see how they go 👍🏻
How did you get the privacy glass ? I ordered a GTS and currently building it. My salesperson said that privacy glass is not an option on the GTS. Where did you find it? Thank you in advance.
It was an option when I ordered my car in January, like many options I guess they seem to come and go randomly from the configurator, at least it’s easy to retrofit privacy glass unlike PCCB or matrix headlights 😬
Does nothing to invalidate the warranty, Porsche approved me fitting them, not worth risking a damaged radiator on the big euro trips I’ll do, they are designed to let maximum airflow and all my temp gauges are exactly the same as driving without the grills 👍🏻
Any part that changes the engine like exhaust, or even shocks etc would invalidate the warranty for sure, but cosmetic changes don’t change anything except the looks and not having a damaged radiator 😬
Car looks amazing ! One question do you have the electric ajustable steering column I'm picking mine up next week and been told it will not be in the car ? cheers
What a beauty, ordered mine last year still waiting. Also you should visit Bentonville,AR see what you think about the mtb scene.
Brilliant spec! Congrats and enjoy in good health.

Nice choice and options. Can you share the finance details?
Will do another video to chat about finances etc 😎
Amazing spec. Ordered in Jan and received in Oct - wow -What dealership did you go to ?

Great color. Did you get the lightweight/noise insulated glass?
No mate. The light weight pack comes with no rear seats and buckets seats which I hate, and light weight glass could only be speced in that pack 🙄
