The anchors have a prompter, the meteorologist is ad lib. To be fair, it's kinda like riding a bike. Eventually, after a lot of practice, you learn where/how to point on the green screen!

BUT HOW do scientist find Low Pressure Area on the weather map ? sometimes they point to an empty location as a LPA but how do they know that is an LPA ?
LPAs rotate in a certain way (counterclockwise is the northern hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere) so you’ll see winds around that empty location making that pattern of rotation
@@kwader9102 well i asked because sometimes our local weather reports in the philippines would show an LPA in a section where its empty, no clouds. so i was just wondering how did they know there is an LPA there. sometimes there is a rotation pattern but they mark the LPA way off the center.
@@SIDEKICKONUA-cam yeah, highs and lows are rarely perfect circles. Some “sides” are shorter than others, so you might have parts that have more westerly winds than easterly winds. Also, the low is relative, so the center of the low pressure system may not be the actual lowest low, the actual low can be somewhere else like you’ve seen

The balloons go up to 100,000 ft. They are safe for the environment. You do raise an interesting point with the aircraft! I'm not sure what would happen if a plane hit one. To be fair, I don't launch them myself. I'm just a broadcast meteorologist. But I'll ask a NOAA meteorologist about their safety protocols!
@@dylanrobichaud9853 if it went into an engine it’d be terrible(I’m only a student pilot but still) but there isn’t any notam(notice to airmen) or any way that we could see when/where those get launched so we can avoid them.

How is it legal to just let that plastic balloon go anywhere to polute the earth, hit an air craft, etc?

Don't worry, the balloon has a clear warning sticker stating it's "harmless", safe enough for me😂
