so did you end up molding his body again with dragon skin? or did you put the dragon skin over his white resin body- like painting silicone skin? lol just wondering, im sculpting a similar in size creature that i want to use rubber or latex for their skin. their body is the same and i'd really like to know if i could possibly stuff his body and save product or should i just cast my silicone in silicone with a release agent? i'm not too new to sculpting, howeverm this is my first time working with platsil gel 10 or making any molds of my work. any advice you can offer would be held in the highest regard and genuinely appreciated. this was so beautiful to watch. this doll looks better than nearly every "official" release of a gremlins toy, in addition to newer ones sold on etsy. you really are a talent.
I think Silpak makes a silicone that's good for gluing silicone to silicone. You might also like NoVocs from Smooth-On instead of Toulene. A lot safer and you can get in matte or glossy. Does the same job thinning silicone as Toulene or Naptha.
