Uncle who??? Sounds dated, but in a good classic rock sort of a way. Best part about it imho is that little keyboard flurry in the chorus and the delicate piano outro near the end. They don't sound anything like Rail to me (no high-pitched vocals for starters), but that may not be such a bad thing cause i've never really warmed up to Rail.
This melodic hard rock band from washington has the same power as rail. Also from the same state. This is their 2nd release. The 1st is the ep welcome to america. With two songs appearing later on this whole lp. It,s a real good record with some heavy guitars and great keyboards mixed in. For me the best songs are: this one, The pompous eye to eye and the standout cut it,s time. With some real heavy guitar.
Thanks for this! I've been looking for this online forever. Is there ANY chance you could upload the song Seattle from this album? It's a minor cult hit around here, and we only know one person who owns it, and it's on vinyl. I don't even know if Terry and Heath have a copy. We would be forever grateful up here, and use it as a party anthem! Thanks for your time... "Way up north in Washington state!"
WAY TO GO HEATH!!!!!!!
My uncle was the keyboard player in this band!!!
Thanks again for the background info.
I,ve never said that they sound like rail.
Because they don,t. They do have the same power in the songs though. And they are from the same state.
