In this video we go over the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen Amped:
Simply put, this is a leather version of the LeBron NXXT Gen, and performs more like the NXXT Gen instead of the Zoom Generation. Stability became better, but breathability went down. Cushion and traction are both satisfactory, most importantly this is luckily not a heavy shoe.

As a kid my mom couldn't afford sneakers like this so i didn't even bother asking her to get me sneakers but ill never forget lebron's first shoe was the first name brand sneaker that caught my eye. Its cool that they're back 20 years later. Whats even funnier is that I wasn't into basketball so i didnt know these were Lebron's sneakers until this year.

Looks nice planning to buy new shoes. Will put this on my list, AE1, Harden 8, lebron nxxt gen ampd, witness, lining wow all city or the fission, GT jump 2 or the Hustle 2, so many choices.

Hey. I usually would use a brush with water and sneaker cleaning solution, that has worked the best for me. But in some cases - the grip after some deep cleaning doesn’t feel as good as it was before. So my superstition with shoes that have really good traction to begin with, is just to leave it as it is… Or some simple wipes at most 😂

The nxxt gen is a decent shoe, I wouldn’t say it’s an elite level shoe, I happened to get mine for 79.99 at a footlocker so I couldn’t complain and use it for outdoors. There were a couple of times I found myself sliding on the painted lines of the concrete court.
Honestly it’s hard for me to find any shoes from Nike with the tide of Chinese brands just taking over the hoopers market.
So far I am in love with the LiNing LiRen 4. It feels like that’s what the Lebron NXXT gen tried to be

I wear 11 on the NXXT Gen too, these I tried both 10.5 and 11 and chose 10.5.

Been using the NXXT gens for almost a year now, and I can confidently tell you that these don’t excel at anything. Traction picks up way too much dust on the translucent outsole (FaZe Clan colorway), and even on clean courts it does slide out a bit. I’d give it a 6/10 maximum. Phylon midsole is way too firm, the zoom units in the forefoot and the heel aren’t really good either since you almost can’t feel them while wearing Nike Elite socks. Sure, you can feel the zoom compress a little bit when you’re pressing it down while standing still. But that’s about it. All you get for 180 USD is a lightweight shoe with decent at best traction, decent support, and below average cushioning for the price.
I would mostly agree. 😁 My take on the NXXT Gen has been that it’s just a shoe made with their typical formula - awkward pricing too and it doesn’t stand out in any aspect you’re right, but at the same time it’s very effective as in like sh*t just works lol
Meanwhile this release is probably more of just a money grab by Nike but it does look really really nice to me.

@@oncetwice7097 It’s not bad don’t get me wrong. Traction is fine for about 30 seconds in a super dusty court once you clean the traction, the phylon midsole is absolutely terrible but the zoom units make up for it. Support… it’s alright. But if you’re a shifty player with a lot of moves, the uppers of this shoe isn’t the best at handling those kind of movements 😢
