We really need a FBI investigation team on discord because there’s a lot of crazy and illegal stuff that goes on discord.

Im not sure what happened to the owner.

The reason for discord to be able to keep track of your data after deletion is you waiving your moral rights in terms and conditions, T&C can sometimes override GDPR.
The thing I just don’t understand is why everyone seems to think discord is the only company doing this, tik tok and Google are by far way worse and you use them two times as much, every app stores your data and the main reason is for legal reason. Private messages can lead to cracking a criminal case or vise versa, it’s not surprising. Every app does this
