Thanks for sharing! I was trying to wait for the new Inspire Faith filament-enabled Bible coming out in February, but this Bible is just plain gorgeous! Red-letter is a plus!
@@karenatkinson8136can I ask you what brought you to that decision. I am narrowing down a Bible to purchase as well. My purpose is to go deeper in getting to know our Precious Lord and Savior and Abba Father. I’m setting in this review that the no fluff that is within this Bible, just might be the one, and it does not hurt that it is speaking life with it’s freshness of the artwork that covers the binding ❤️ Thank you in advance for sharing-:)
@@bonnied3550 I purchased it for all the reasons mentioned in the video. I wanted a Bible with plenty of space for writing notes as I too am trying to go deeper in my study of the Bible. It was the translation I wanted and I LOVE all the extras you get with the Filament app. I've been using it for almost a year now and don't see myself changing Bibles anytime soon.
I have this Bible and I LOVE it! You don’t need to purchase anything extra, like a commentary, atlas, dictionary,…the filament app (accessible through this Bible) has all of those things and more!
It’s pronounced “FIL-a-ment” not fulfillment. I’m not sure why they picked that name, but my guess is a filament is a thin wire, and the Filament Bibles are thinner because all the study notes, chapter intro, character descriptions/bios, etc, are on the app… connected to each other through an invisible filament of taking a picture of the page code. The Filament app has all the study notes from the NLT Study Bible as well as articles and devotionals from other books and Bibles Tyndale publishes. It also has some cool reading plan options. I’m hoping one day they’ll let users set reminders for the reading plans and include the NLT text for users who bought a Filament Bible so you could jump between hyperlinks to passages mentioned or cross-referenced in the app content. I love having the smaller physical Bible for when you want uncluttered distraction-free reading time, and for ease of carrying the smaller and lighter Bible. I’ve thought about getting a wide margin Bible so I can write down notes and insights about passages in one place that I glean from other Bibles, sermons, podcasts, UA-cam videos, etc. This one is really pretty and unique.
I ordered this Bible and it’s gorgeous in person!!!
I’m so glad you love it! Thank you for watching! 🖤
