Your channel one of the best I seen on UA-cam - good content, and you talking very calm (that's good for not native English speakers like me, because lots of youtubers talks very fast)

I just watched Chicken Run based on what you said about it in this video (and also since I heard a lot of people comparing it to The Promised Neverland) and I honestly liked it more than I should've, I'm 15

Aardman’s The Promised Neverland: Filled with chickens, slavery, being killed to eventually be eaten, female protagonist, and how was Mel Gibson in this movie?

It's pronounced Pip-Pee Longstocking. It's based on a series of Swedish books, which I remember I had read to me as a little kid. There have been many movies and TV shows based on the books, some animated, some live action. I remember watching some of the live action films as a kid, but they were produced overseas, and the dub was a bit off. I mainly remember that Pippi was the "strongest girl in the world " and was able to lift up twp full grown burglers with one arm. She was so ridiculous, even as a kid, I knew this was absurd. As I recall, I rather liked the books, and the live action movies. The one from your childhood, I was already full grown by the time it came out (I'm old. Not by choice. I didn't get a say in it). So, no, I can't really comment on that version. I just dismissed it as a remake of a remake of a remake, that had surely been "modernized" for contemporary audiences.
As for what I found scary in cartoons as a kid, hard to beat the Night on Bald Mountain segment from Fantasia. I mean, you are literally watching souls being damned! Besides that, not much comes to mind that's animated. Now, Muppets, they had some serious nightmare fuel! If you haven't seen it, just look up Vend-a-face. I literally had nightmares over that thing pulling off eyes and ears and things!
Cool video, BTW. Keep um coming!

Cool! I knew Pippi Longstocking had a live action movie but I didn't know it had books. Did they ever explained how her dad is still alive? In the movie that I watched her dad literally comes out of a bush and there's no explanation of how he's still alive or how he was rescued. But judging by how strong Pippi is, her dad is probably invincible.I really need to get around to watching Fantasia. I only watch clips from it, not the whole thing. Night on Bald Mountain looks cool. Had to google Vend-a-face, and watching clips of that character, man, that thing is unsettling! Sheesh! Who came up with that? I've never heard of it before. Also, thanks! These videos are fun to make! ;)

Well, it's been about 35 years or so (told you I'm old), but as I recall, for the first book and first movie Pippi tells everyone that her dad is a sailor who was captured by pirates trying to get his treasure, and of course, no one really believes her. Then at the end he shows up having escaped from the pirates. I don't really remember any details as to how, just the emphasis on that Pippi wasn't making the story up. I do remember a scene from one of the movies, where he had been recaptured by the pirates, who are comically incompetent, and Pippi and her friends are on an adventure to rescue him. I remember one scene where one of the pirates points a gun at the father's head and says, "Alright! If you don't tell me where the treasure is, I'll kill right here!"
And the father calmly sayd, "No you won't."
      "Yes, I will!"
      "No, you won't."
      "I won't? ... Well.... why not!?!"
"Because, if you kill me, I definitely can't tell you where the treasure is, now then, can I?"
"Oh yeah.... didn't think of that."

Hitfilm Express is what I use. It's a free video editing program. You only have to pay if you want some fancy special effects, which I don't use, so it's perfect for me.

I watched a handful of anime. Stuff like Death Note, One Punch Man, Mob Psycho 100, My Hero Academia, Death Parade, Baccano, Your Name, and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Because as much as I love North American Animation, there are a lot of interesting concepts in Japanese Animation. I want to watch more when I have the time.
