Great advice again Stefan! For me my main takeaway is including dynamics from the beginning as I always say that I’ll put them in when I know the piece better - then I never do😩
I really enjoy this channel, though I am sometimes conflicted. I really enjoy synthesisers, so on occasion I find it hard to translate between piano and synth. But I have really enjoyed getting to understand the movement, dynamics, and expressive playing. The counting out loud is really a useful tip. I am unlikely to get past Level 1; but I shall keep trying. Admittedly, it's fun playing the same tutorials with some synth sounds, and it really adds to the fun for me. Thanks for the great videos!
Hi Stephan! I recently stumbled upon ur channel and I LOVE it! I love ur style of teaching. And I’m from the US, so I find ur accent to be enjoyable to listen to!! lol!! Thanks for this list! I struggle especially w number 9!! I’m finally getting the hang of slow playing so now I gotta work on evening out my tempo!!
I do 2 hrs every day, I feel like I am not getting anywhere, i am guilty of starting at the beginning every time. I have ironed out meditations from using the metronome
If you try to learn how to make a computer, may be a whole life wont be enough. Bc you have to learn more than you think. May be you are trying to learn more higher than your level. You should take lesson from someone that you trust.
Thanks for another great video, esp. for #9. I am habitually allowing hesitation to become built in - to supposedly avoid errors and then can't increase my tempo to near what it should be. I think some pieces are just too hard and this is part of it. Another thing I have realized is that I am not READING AHEAD and this is another thing I am working on. Yes, alone. Wish me luck.
Excellent advice!
And so easy to introduce these mistakes into your practice even when you know better.
Thanks for the reminders.
Good advice. Thanks

This is really great advice. I know because I've made every one of these mistakes! This is a great reminder for me. Thanks!!

Eleventh tip. Hit the like button.
I caught Satie in the background, I was kinda hoping that his work might show up in book 4 or 5 (hint hint)😊

I think the advice given is correct. Much slower, find very elementary beginning songs. First the right hand, then the left hand. Take your time.
