- Ayesha talks about the role of technology in bringing about a more equal and fair society, by empowering women and giving them platforms for free speech. She illustrates this through powerful examples, such as her role in changing the perception about acid attacks, as well as how the social media pressures the criminal justice system into change.
This talk was presented on 1st June 2019 at TEDxGoodenoughCollege - eQuality.

In Quran, Chapter 49, verse 13 is mentioned, “O humankind! We have made you…into nations and tribes, so that you may get to know one another. The noblest of you in God’s sight is the one who is most righteous.” The Allah has addressed the humankind here without any discrimination that means gender, color, racial, language or cultural differences are not a base for treating one human better than the other, as well as man than the woman.
You know lot of Quran. Will you go to see christian prince..... Videos on UA-cam and also you can talk to him on Skype... He will fix you very well
But Feminism has got nothing to do with Quran and Islam. This Quranic verse is about something else. Agenda of Feminism is totally western concept and the teachings that are taught in this are totally against Islamic cultural and moral values how can Islam speak about this agenda don't misinterpret Quranic verses for your personal benefits.
12:07 I'm sorry did I miss something? how do we claim to know that those 70% of participants were women? in my eyes she just said "70% of people were scared to post pics online cause they can be misused" well duh isn't everyone scared of that? how did we come to the claim that those 70% participated were women? was the participants gender also asked in the questions to determine this? cause or else this is just complete use of manipulated data? I replayed that part couple of times someone explain. This has nothing to do with men, women or gender this is everyone fearing a pic of them will be misused.

It was great!! Thank you very much!!!
My dear sister, you said that Pakistan has conservative culture bcz of parda. Its not Pakistan that is conservative, its Islam. And by saying "pardah" conservative, you are denying Allah's commands. I agree with woman rights but with the limits that Islam has set for us. Islam protects and respects woman. A good muslim man will never do such a thing that her wife or daughter feel disrespected, he will never kill in the name of honor, he will help his wife in house chores like our prophet did, he will put his family before himself, he will respect his wife, he will give dowry himself and not take any dowry from his wife, he will provide him with a separate home if he affords it, he will control his anger to please Allah, he will be kind and gentle, he will forgive his wife's mistakes because that's what Islam demands from a husband and that's what will take him to Jannah.
Then I wonder why you don't use Islam for your arguments? Because then you will have to accept that pardah is a part of Islam and you can't speak against it? Or that Islam considers your husband as your guardian and you can't say that he is your equal?
@@nruut3735if you agree with what you are agreeing with. You are throwing reason and rationality out of the window. Religion can never be a source of reasoning.
Technology can change but religion will not change !

men and women are not equal .but there importance in society is equal .men and women are different they have different roles, and different gob .and there is nothing wrong about it. ALLAH create men for providing and protection . and women to maintain family and take care and educate upcoming generation .

To most people this topic is still a Taboo.
@@ayanavolahiri3122 I don't think it's taboo, it is unawareness and ignorance of the people of Pakistan and other world's regarding women's struggle in the region
