- Despite fighting for dear life our beautiful nation of China collapsed under the occupying forces of the Japanese Empire!
In the south west one state wasn't as badly hit, Yunnan, While still under Japanese influence Lu Han has enough independence that he can put forwards his modernization plans. However on thing could change everything, the insurections and the NPA who seek to end the occupation and destroy Japanese imperialism.

The NPA is my single favourite hoi4 country to play, shit was so tough in earlier patches like 300 japanese divisions vs my peasant militias, when I won I started tearing up like a b*tch I felt so accomplished.

@@lememzI never did a real NPA game before the re-work, but if memory serves they set out the war in stages rather than having it be an all-or-nothing war against China, then the sphere once they collapse. Between the allies you get via the Momentum mechanic and the fact there's a pause between 'the collapse of China' and 'the declaration of war by the sphere', that makes things significantly easier on the NPA.
@@lememz I think it was about the old economy system before toolbox theory, it was more simple and easier to make tons of money so all countries could afford big military, I can still remember Bormann germany with 2,5k divisions
