    • @pishedbloke
      @pishedbloke Місяць тому

      The K850 is also Bluetooth compatible, have you tried connecting it directly via Bluetooth? You can also try connecting it to another Logitech Unifying Receiver if you have a mouse using a Unifying receiver. Refer to these steps for either Bluetooth or the Unifying Receiver: www.logitech.com/en-us/products/combos/mk850-wireless-keyboard-mouse.920-008219.html

    Hi, you used a set of keyboard mouse and wireless receiver to download the software and run the program. Because without a wireless connection you can not download and run the program. OK? When did you change the receiver? After starting to run the program? You don't show it in your video.

    • @pishedbloke
      @pishedbloke 20 днів тому

      You can use any working keyboard to do that. Just plug in a wired keyboard and mouse to download the software. You can't operate a computer without an input device. You need to run the program on a working computer which you can operate and plug in the receiver there.

      Unfortunately these only work for Logitech, the TX/RX is using their own wireless band is not Bluetooth. If you have a Bluetooth mouse it could pair to the BT receiver in your PC wirelessly.

    Hi, I have just bought one of these mice: M185, code MR0087. However, I cannot find any Logitech software that detects it (Connectivity Utility, Options+, SetPoint, etc.). I own another M185 mouse (just bought previously and the difference in label is that the code is MR0085) and that one is easily detectable. I have the same issue with a brand new M220 mouse (no detected by any Logitech software). Have you come across a similar situation?

    • @pishedbloke
      @pishedbloke Рік тому

      Hi, the M185 and M220 should be Plug & Play devices, what OS (Windows 11?) are you using? Also, are you trying to use the same USB receiver for all your mice? Each mouse should come with its own USB receiver already paired, so you should use the corresponding receiver with each mouse.

    I noticed that the website in your video no longer works!!
    But I was on a Linux OS (and not a Windows OS), so after a quick Google, I decided to use 'solaar' for Linux ... very easy and simple (open-source command line tool by the community)! I know that you should be able to do the same thing with Logitech tools, but they are only for Windows systems. I think there is support for MAC as well.
    FIRST - Install it if you don't already have it!
    $> sudo apt-get update
    $> sudo apt-get install solaar
    NEXT - Get information about current USB dongle in your computer (optional, can be skipped)
    $> sudo solaar show
    // This will dump information about the USB dongle itself, list any pairing it has and provide information for each paired device.
    PAIR - Issue the pair command
    $> sudo solaar pair
    // Make sure to turn off all the devices you don't want to pair and turn on the device(s) you do want to pair.
    UNPAIR - You can also remove a pairing. For example, one of the USB dongles had a second device (a keyboard) paired to it. Since I could not find the keyboard anywhere, I simply removed it:
    $> sudo solaar unpair 2
    That's about it!! It literally takes a few seconds.
    The biggest 'unknown' is what if other people would have been using their mouse and keyboard near me ... would it have picked them up as well? Probably ... something to consider.

    • @pishedbloke
      @pishedbloke Рік тому

      I have not tried this combination. According to the Livewire website not all Logitech devices support this: Do all wireless Logitech mice support the unifying receiver?
      No. For example, Logitech's gaming mice don't support the Unifying Receiver and instead use Logitech's "Lightspeed" wireless feature. You can identify wireless Logitech mice compatible with Unifying by the square, sun-like icon printed on the mouse. This icon is also on the Unifying Receiver.
