@@WinterBirdfrhe only had 2 pearls and which means he could only make 2 ender pearls , and in 14:56 he had 3 more (11) which confirms that he used Creative
@@HarryOn299 you can find pearls in the stronghold, so there is a chance he found ender pearls while looking for the portal room and we just never saw him collect them.
