Thank you for this ‘walk on the wild side’ view of the less glamorous, but essential, movement of goods by rail. The pace, description and passing glimpses of adjacent property, infrastructure and lines is a reminder that getting ‘somewhere in a suit’ is not the main business of railways.
Great video many thanks for sharing. Just wondered the third dial on the console shot up and the fourth fluctuated around 2 minute mark. Why does it do that?
That was because I made a brake application, which showed on the fourth dial, the third dial is the Airflow indicator which showed the brake application when it went up, when it went down the brake returned to 5 bar
I do hope they have put measures in place to stop the scum chucking refuse on to the line again. How much that cleanup cost I hate to think. These people give themselves a bad name.
When it was cleared they should have installed a very high barrier to prevent stuff being chucked over, but they would probably complain about losing their daylight & their human rights being violated !
Really enjoyed watching this On-Board Footage - I Liked & Subscribed 👍😎

Is that 6M55 into Wembley..
Probably Andy lol
Great video, what time do drivers usually turn the day headlights on/of and night headlights on/off?
It depends on light levels, as opposed to strict times. And it's typically drivers' discretion.
When it’s daylight or nighttime or when entering a yard
@@freightrambler7199 oh, i am aware that 66s have yard lights
Is it boring driving a train? I've never drove one. was it a 66?
Sometimes it’s boring & yes I am driving a Class 66
If only the camera would stay still!!
The train is moving & so is my head !
See they've cleared all the crap by the travellers site at C W junc:
it's slowly appearing again, i am expecting to see a few Christmas trees in the New Year !
