This is the best craft room organization video ever. I have watched many many many this is the best!!! You make it clear you, make it look easy and it’s very attainable. Thank you so much
Perfectly organized and a fantastic job! It makes for a very uncluttered looking space. Sadly, I am a visual person and I have to have my most used things out in plain view. If everything I have is in closets or drawers it’s like I forget I have them!! Half I have out and half is clearly labeled. I tried for years to organize like this because I love it to look neat but it didn’t work for me. I took Clutterbug’s test and BAM!! I am so much happier.😊❤️
I agree. Pam, you did a great job and I love your organization. I am also visual. I might forget what I have inside close cabinets and drawers. But I can use some of your ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent organization video. I was impressed by the simplicity yet effectiveness of your categories but especially the ability to watch you fill all those bins. Love your space and how you organized it. Thanks for sharing! Have a great day! 🙂
Haha yes! Having the motivation and then dedication to keep going is always the hardest part. 🤣 Once you get started, I promise it will be fun and so rewarding!
Oh wow!!! New subbie here...love, love your craft space and how you have organised it too accommodate every family member who uses the space..xx🤗💞👌 I love the containers you have used as draw dividers etc..💞💐💞💐💞💐💞💐💞💐💞👌😊🤗
Really enjoyed seeing your room. What were the containers other than the home edit ones that you used. Can you share how you chose the bins …..they all fitted the drawers like puzzle pieces. Loved the table…..info please! So happy to have found your channel……new subscriber looking forward to browsing more of your content🤗🤗🤗
Hi there!! I believe I used containers from The Dollar Tree, IKEA and Hobby Lobby. I can do a separate video on all the different kinds of containers and where to find them if that would be helpful! :) And thank you so much for subscribing! 🥰🥰
Here are the DIY plans for the craft table :) I just substituted a plank of wood instead of the metal pipe. cherishedbliss.com/x-brace-farmhouse-table-free-plans/
This is so validating, except it's all for me (no kids) -- I sometimes feel like I'm the only adult in the world with an entire craft store in my home. I'm also like another commenter in that I tend to need clear containers with visibility (hello ADHD), but I also need to be able to shut everything away so I *can't* see it all. Something like this might work for me. I am in the process of hiring a professional organizer to help me with many parts of my home, and I will be able to show this video to them as an example of someone containing nearly all the same stuff I need to. Except I also have photography equipment! Thank you for this!
You're so welcome, Brett! I feel like my brain functions a lot like yours. :) And if you find a solution for photography equipment, let me know! haha I can film how I have my vlogging equipment stored but it definitely won't be inspirational. 😆
Oh my gosh! That’s so kind of you to say! So, I didn’t do much planning beforehand but I knew I loved the clear bins. So I just kept buying them as often as I could and filled in the drawers over the course of a few weeks. :) I think keeping the same containers (at least the same color/material) throughout really helps it look more organized. I’m happy to help give ideas if you have any specific areas that need a little organizational refresh! :)
Hi Pam! Excellent video! I love how you have a place for EVERYTHING! One question…where can I find the slim mini clear cases that had the crochet needle, and beads and diamond supplies. These containers also fit neatly in one larger container? Thanks again for such a detailed organization tour
Hi Marilyn! Thanks for such a lovely comment. :) I got the photo cases from Hobby Lobby! :) Here's a link to the exact item: www.hobbylobby.com/Scrapbook-Paper-Crafts/Storage-Organization/Photo-Storage-Keeper/p/80982005
💜🎶Hi Pam... great organization skills ... smooth sailings from here .. love how the amount of items actually fits to the size of the container .. Subscribing to your channel 💜 Caroline 🎶🇨🇦
Great video! Now that you've had your setup for a while do you find it difficult that you have to move things in the front of the drawers in order to access the back of the drawers? That is the only thing I think I would find annoying.
I think there were a few drawers where I noticed I kept moving the bins so I ended up putting the less used bins in the back. But depending on the height of things in the front, I can reach into the back and access things pretty easily. 🤗
@@PamAlvarado Thank you for being so helpful with your response. I love so many of your organizational designs and will be putting several of them in my crafting space. Thanks again for your detailed and well done video!
@@lizm4557 Please excuse my late reply but thank you! I hope some of these ideas help you to feel more creative in your crafting area. Being organized definitely helps some of my creative juices start flowing. :) And thank you for watching! :)
Just luck! 😆 And they don’t fit exactly perfectly but enough to not leave too much empty space. I just found the bins that I loved at a good price point and they luckily worked out! But if you really want to be sure, you can usually find measurements online and map it out beforehand. :)
My problem also.....bins don't fit the space or my stuff doesn't fit the bin. Pam makes it look so easy. I'm off to play with bins and my drawers! New subbie...just found you.
Your room is beautiful, as are your girls. Thanks for sharing. Just a minor spelling error- stationery (the letter writing kind) is spelled with an e, not an a. I remember the difference by “letter has an e, stay has an a.” I hope that helps. I wish my IKEA drawers were as deep as your drawers. 😊❤️
It actually wasn’t terrible, even though it looks like it! Haha The drawers were pretty deep so I could reach into the back and get things if I really needed but I also didn’t mind pulling something out from the front to slide the back bins forward. However, we have since moved and I couldn’t take these drawers with us anyway. 😭 I’ll film a video of my current set up soon! :)
Hi Leslie! It’s the Nordli drawers from Ikea :) This video shows how we made the countertops! CRAFT ROOM MAKEOVER ✨ DIY IKEA NORDLI HACK ua-cam.com/video/jZ_HRDt-fzQ/v-deo.html
I love your organizing. Sometimes I think I love organizing more than the actual crafting.
I, for sure, love organizing more than crafting. 😆 Thank you for watching and leaving such a nice comment!
That was EXTREMELY useful and helpful to me. Thanks and blessings from New Zealand. 🥰🥰🥰

Love your organization! I think the key is having a specific place for everything to live and keeping like items together. Tfs.

How did you get the bins to fit so perfectly? Did you measure then buy what you needed or is there a bin set for this type of drawer system?

What drawer/dresser set is that you're using?
It’s the Nordli Modular Drawers from Ikea. I have another video here on my channel that shows how we made the custom countertops :)
THANK YOU!!!! I'm in the process of getting my room and starting over .. I'll be sure to use your affiliate link to purchase them when I do!
How long did it take you to not have those boxes in the back of the drawers so you cant access the things?

Strange question: why would you put the crafts for the youngest in the top drawer, and the things for the elder in the lower drawer?
I have no idea. 😆 It just kinda worked out that way. And all MY stuff is in the very bottom drawer! 🙈🙈
Where did you get your drawers/ dresser? IKEA? If so, which one is it?

what about small apartments
You could stack these cabinets too, if you'd like! :)
