I went to watch An Action Hero in theatres despite no hype around it, and believe me I had one of the best experience in the theatre after a long time. A movie which did not bore me for even a single minute, kept me indulged till the end. The twists, the suspense, the subtle digs, the acting of the protagonists, everything was top notch. And this was one such movie where I did not regret spending my money at all.
Yes, future of Bollywood is in OTT only theatres are dead across India irrespective of language. Views are only for OTT subscriptions.. inevitable when directors and scriptwriters are not valued, but production houses and stars are valued more

The downfall of bollywood is real and not because of boycott. It's because the free contents which are available on UA-cam. So for eg - if a director make socio drama or small town stories or any thriller , it's not going to work on theatres as ample free contents are available on YT . Second thing , the event films like RRR or a sequel based films like KGF has future. Now it's almost an of a road for method actors like ayushman, Rajkumar Rao etc To survive in main stream they have to the part of Event films and not socio dramas or love stories.
Till date critics don't review movie like OTT releases and Theatrical releases......Bollywood won't be able to stand in its leg......They want ott in theatre and theatre in ott....Thats the main reason.

Shehzada was a bad movie and still it did more than double the business of An action hero which was a good content film. So when people say ‘now stars don’t work only story works’ it’s actually not completely true. Then why would a good story like action hero do such poor business? Star power is still very much a thing in Bollywood. Might not be as big as it was before but it still exists.

This guy is so diplomatic in his reviews, he wants to keep everyone happy. He is not a critic but just a pr cum reviewer for big studios. Also he has so many contradictions in his own statement, after listening to him for 2 straight hours, i am convinced he has nothing to do with films. He is just using his privileges to do something he can only do. Stop considering him a film critic, he is a just movie buff who has all the money to spend in watching movies & talk about it.
