When my mom got terminally ill I found this song. The bridge where he sings about danger in the air but we're not afraid, hits me so hard. Now my mom has since passed away and this song brings me peace and sadness but it's speaks truth. I do wish I was an angel now. I haven't listened to this song without crying once. It hits home all to well. Especially the parts where Im dreaming of her and wished I never opened my eyes.

A lovely rendition of this beautiful song. Declan has a lovely voice and does a great job of transporting the emotion of the song. Written in the early 90s by then 15-year-old Paddy (Michael Patrick) Kelly and his 10-year-old brother Angelo about their late mother, it became a huge hit for the Kelly Family in 1994 and kicked off Kellymania in Germany, which spread across Europe. To this day it’s still one of the fan favourites, although they have a wealth of hits and great songs to draw from.

Arriane I thought it was just me! Sometime back in 2017 I think, Troye Savant....I butchered the spelling of his last name, but he was on Ellen. I couldn't believe it. I would have never thought he would have gone anywhere. I had listened to him a few times but thought Declan was so much better than him, probably still is but I need to find something more current by Declan. He's so cute and his voice just pierces through you. My own kids are in their upper 20's and they were much younger when I first found Declan on UA-cam.
