@@martinfurtner2136 I hope they go far. But the sad reality is, if they don't have a big group with quality players, then if they get someone or a few players injured it can go FAST downhill again.. (I'm thinking beyond this tournament) But, Im superhappy that the Handball family is getting bigger :) Im 50 Swedish 50% Croat so Im hoping for any1 of them to go all the way and win the gold.

Eh, IMO France's draw with Switzerland and Spain not reaching the main round were bigger surprises than this game. Despite what the home crowds may think, Germany just isn't that good of a team - they don't have the speed, precision, and ruthlessness that the top teams (Denmark, France, Sweden) have. Germany really has just two truly top-class players - Knorr and Wolff - and that isn't enough to challenge for medals in a World or European championship.

просто ужасная игра сборной германии .не знали что с мячом делать и бросить не кому. Юрий Кнор пытался вытащить и много ошибок задней линии.порадовал вратарь германии.вытащил тяжелые мячи

Simply Austrians were better today as team.
Probably Köster and Wolff were the best player from German team. Sorry to say but Knorr’s performance was weak - no sharpness, bad distribution of balls(especially in the last minutes) bad seeing of squad, despite the fact that his agility to shoot, to change movement directions is highest one.
Germany was swallowed by the defense and stopped by the Austrian goalkeeper, but Austria melted at the end and conceded the equalizer but saved in Germany's Game Winner
Great game by Austria, weird that they celebrate a draw like that when they were so close to winning it
