Choosing faith over feelings is so important
Thank you, I’ve been in my down phase and this has probably been the darkest one. However I’ve pulled myself out of it and I know it’s time to keep on my spiritual journey but I was too embarrassed because I stopped in the first place! This video is right on time for me thank you! What has been motivating to pray again is simply the facts that he has been listening to me and he has given me almost a thousand second chances so I can be better each time… And realizing all along and I was just impatient. Time after time has this happened actually and I have to keep realizing he has never left my side i’ve just been in and out of faith sadly! But thank you for this message once again!

Just found this channel. I realize it probably is designed more for women's spiritual needs, but this particular subject is one I sometimes struggle with too. I love to pray in the morning but always "try" to pray before bedtime too. Sometimes I wait too long and feel to exhausted, and so it becomes a quick prayer, not really a good communication with the Father. But, I would also like to add one more reason we don't pray when we really should. For me it is guilt, even though in reality guilt is one thing that should draw us to the Lord in prayer.
I'm motivated to pray more especially after seeing that God has answered my prayers. My heart gets filled with gratitude and joy.

My issue was that I want Gods will so why pray? Sort of like He will do what He thinks is right. Because of that does my prayer even matter? I think what triggered that thought was deep grief and years of unanswered prayer. I believe I'm slowly overcoming that with the help of the Holy Spirit but I mean just as of a few days ago. I know prayer is not about requests but conversation with God. But I couldn't hear Him. I know still my fault. And don't get me wrong I was still praying. Just felt and tbh still feel dead inside. I'm grateful for this video

Thank you for message of truth. The feeling of sadness because of some frustations from my hubby. Now I know God is narr and He saves my crushed spirit. I als o doubt whatt if God did not answer when I prayed for someone who has a need?. What a shame. I also have 😢 fear ahow can my problem be solved if it is so overwhelming. I was scammed and I am in deep debt. But no matter what feelings, just still prsy, God will answerr and will do the impossible and I will have the victory. Lord it's only You now who I will trust. You are merciful and gracious.

I feel tired when i think of praying because i prayed and prayed about the same problem but no change im i wek or doing it wrongly ?
How about anger at God ma? For a while I used to be angry at God.

Psalm is a good place to start..try it

Sorry to confront you with this scripture which states in JEREMIAH 30:21 that God himself will draw you to pray so the Holy Spirit draws you to pray but do you 'engage' to pay? You don't need to pray as often as you believe...it is not guilt or doubt or neglect that forced you to pray; it is God himself when he needs you to approach him. He summons you this way. It is not a feeling to make yourself feel better.
