The NFF hurriedly made new arrangements for reception in Port Harcourt. On arrival, the Libyans were told to take another flight to UYO. But instead, they opted for a bus ride. The NFF hurriedly made arrangements for Buses & security, but they rejected it and went and got their own bus without A/C to go to UYO.
So where has the NFF and Nigeria done BAD ????. The Libyan players blamed NFF because they don’t know what is happening in

Nigeria should withdraw our players from Lybia, which I think they have rightly done. NFF should write to complain to FIFA about the dirty treatment the Lybian authority to Nigerian players and wait for reply from FIFA. CAF will compromise and sanction Nigeria if Nigeria does not take proactive steps to stop Lybian authority.

Libya was not scheduled to play Ghana so why would you expect them to treat them bad?. They did us badly because we were playing them.

There is no doubt that the Libyan FA's treatment to the Nigerian team was a well calculated and deliberate action. No excuse for it, and the Nigerian FA didn't treat them in the same way. Even if there was any logistic issue when the Libyans landed in Nigeria, it wasn't anything harsh or deliberate and was taken care of ASAP. This treatment in the 21st century football is unimaginable and barbaric. Now, all eyes are on CAF and FIFA to see how they handle it. That game should be rescheduled to a neutral ground, and the Libyan FA given appropriate sanction. How CAF react to this incident is going to matter so much in sustaining football in Africa.
