In Conversation with Alexis Pauline Gumbs, author of "Undrowned"

Dr. Alexis Pauline Gumbs is the author of "Undrowned: Black Feminist Lessons from Marine Mammals," which won a Whiting Award. This video captures her conversation with students from Baruch College's Department of Black and Latino Studies. The students were all enrolled in the BLS capstone course called "Climate Justice is Racial Justice." The event was co-sponsored by the BLS Department, the English Department via Globus Lectures, and the Dean's Office at Baruch's Weissman School of Arts and Sciences. "Undrowned" is published by AK Press.
