Just watched the race video (bit late!) and watching this now... love the video, great to see some races going ahead with COVID friendly restrictions. Looking forward to more videos!

I'm a road marathoner with some serious curiosity regarding ultra-running! Your videos always make me want to hit the trails! Amazing achievement here! Keep pushing!

Very different. I wanted to train for a sub 3 for London this year but all cancelled. Maybe another time. Good to change it up!

Wow, great placing!! Thank you so much for this. I took away some things that will help me with my first 50k in 3 weeks. (I'm not a dork for going through gear this early, throw in a 3rd pair of gloves that are warmer, take note of where I put things in my pack, don't buy the whole grocery store, DO bite the bullet and buy some Spring gels and foot cream, and definitely make sure to enjoy the camaraderie. ) Thank you so much for preventing some bad moments! Have a great recovery, and looking forward to your next training block!

Can you do some more videos on Marathon De Sables..... what kind of training did you do, how did you eat in all your training, did you train a lot on "tired?" how did you learn to read nature, wildlife and stay safe as well as storms' what were your strategies to contend with each. How did you learn to read trail and what are your recommendations for staying safe while running and training outdoors?

Is it worth having a Whoop strap when you already have a Garmin or similar? I have been thinking about it for recovery metrics.

I ended up binning my whoop. My opinion for what it’s worth is it’s not W orth the money for data received. Stick to the clever watches 👍

Thanks for sharing your experiences at A100. I’m signed up, as it’s flat, could you wear road shoes or is it best to go for trail shoes ? Just coming back off a foot injury in last 50 miler. Thanks in advance.

There are parts that road shoes work but it all depends on the weather. Trail shoes are preferred as muddy parts and in the Ridgway. Training and the build up if far more important than the shoes though. Good luck 🤞

Heh, I reckon it would take me about 3 years to work up to 100 miles!
