- A breathless highlights package from Saturday's late triumph is now available to view!
Adam Armstrong's maiden Albion goal looked to have been cancelled out by Callum Paterson's stoppage-time effort for Sheffield Wednesday, only for the hosts to go and bag one of their own - Jayson Molumby getting the necessary contact to direct a winner beyond James Beadle and spark crazy scenes at The Hawthorns.
Enjoy the WBA TV footage from B71 in the video above.
First home game since the passing of my Dad, a lifelong baggie. He would’ve loved that. Thank you lads
🕊️
The Lords my shepherd 🙏
I’m sure he would be mate, god bless him, baggies all the way 🙏🏻
He'll be watching with you.
Best celebration from a baggies player in a long time get in there Jason molumby!🔥
The passion that Molumby has is 🥶
Can our fans stop pouring out of the ground the moment we hit the 80th minute? It was 1-0 at the time. Not 3 or 4. The players absolutely feed off the energy, and the moment people start leaving it feels like "job done". Absolutely no surprise Wednesday got back into the game late on with the atmosphere completely muted and empty seats everywhere.
For everyone who stayed, you deserved that magnificent ending. For those who left, I hope you regret it and cheer the team until the final whistle next time.
I am sick of some of our fans
I saw some leave in 60 minute that not backing the team
I always stay till 90 mins losing or drawing or winning
@JamesDay-x5z I don't get it. Never will. Look at Plymouth fans the other week. Beat us 2-1 and not a soul had left the ground even 5 minutes after the full time whistle. Everyone celebrating a win and appreciating the players. Our lot just leave in droves the moment the clock hits 80 regardless of scoreline. It's embarrassing and I'd hate it if I was a player.
The mad thing is I park down the metro track watch the full thing and fast walk back almost always get back there before the early leavers anyway overtaking them all on the track.
@@GGMatt one thing I also don't like from some West Brom fans if we loss one game it's the end of the world and Manager needs to be sacked but if we win a game it's the greatest
Calling Carlos Corberan a king I never called him that
He did a great job but never got promoted
Now Tony Mowbray they singing his name but like I said if we loss one game it's Mowbray out
Tony Mowbray is the first ever Manager I watched as West Brom fan
Remember the FA Cup semi-final and getting promoted
I will back whoever is the Manager of our great club and the players too
Some people have small children that they don’t want to drag through the chaos. I get what your saying but everyone has their own reasons.
Molumby, what passion. What a man. Get in there. Come on u baggies
Molumby was still running around the pitch, shirtless, an hour after the match had ended !
We never usually do that. Teams normally do it to us! So, so good. And weren’t both goals taken so well? Difficult chances both. Bravo Baggies!
Amazing execution from the boys! What a final goal, what a celly, what a win!! Up the Albion!!
I know it’s been previously mentioned, but leaving the ground early is getting worse. Aside from missing a fantastic finale yesterday, it’s poor for the team. Some people - me included - travel considerable distances to get to home and away games and if we can do it, others can. Rant over.
Excellent Save From Wildsmith + Goal From
Adam Armstrong And Jayson Molumby.
West Bromwich Albion Winners Against
Sheffield Wednesday In The Hawthorne Stadium
Score By 2-1.
Way to go boys!! You made my day here.
I congratulate your huge effort today
Let you know we support you from Argentina too!!
Triunfazo del WBA!!! Ese gol en la adición fue maravilloso 👍🤛
Love molumbys passion. That's what a club needs. Armstrong, proper goalscorer. I hope we can get him permanently, but Southampton will more than likely get relegated, and he'll be scoring against us next season.
Adam Armstrong and Josh Maja could be great together when Josh Maja returns
Goals and Goals and Goals
Will Lankshear looked good when he came on
Tom Fellows putting ball into the ball
Mikey Johnston getting back to his best
Love Jayson Molumby
Issac Price played well
Ousmane Diakite some player
Grady Diangana played well too
Tony Mowbray will be getting the players playing some great football
Really need to start showing extra highlights for opponents goals!
Good win West Bromwich Albion 2 1 Sheffield Wednesday next game West Bromwich Albion Blackburn February 12 on Wednesday next game Millwall West Bromwich Albion February 15 on Saturday from Leeburke
HES IN YOUR HEEEEEEEAD IN YOUR HEEEEEEAD MOLUMBY MOLUMBY MOLUMBY Y Y
I'm still bouncing!!! UTA😊
Hes in your heaaaaaad
Had to leave on the 80th minute. Absoluteley gutted to miss that ending!
It’s ac quite annoying as a few of us having valid reasons for leaving early like myself I suffer from awful anxiety when in big crowds yet some of the fans won’t stop slating it 🤷♂️
if Armstrong shows hat much commitment were in for a good strong finish!
Come on WBA
Don’t begrudge WBA their deserved victory but their abuse of Bernard and cries of wanker when he obviously had a serious injury most likely cruciate was poor form from a set of fans I had previously held high regard for. Their excuse is that he went down deliberately, reality is that when a player goes down clutching his knee with no one is around that’s generally a sign of a serious injury. All Wednesday fans knew it right away as he’s an honest lad and doesn’t feign injury
You’re right, we let ourselves down there. I hope he bounces back quickly.
Where are ya Nick Parker....stay away 🔵⚪️🔵
come on you baggies
Not showing the sending off???😮 ...
What sending off?
@@PlayingJoshBartley was sent off after the whistle, molumby wound everyone up 🤣, and Bartley blocked someone from going towards him by shoving his arm accross his face😭
@PlayingJosh Bartlett got sent off in the 6th minute of injury time...
@@Roymarsh1234 nah lad it was after the whistle
@sxrrr4577 ....but still on the pitch..
Danke West Bromwich
Brilliant last gasp win for the Baggies. I know we are going through hard times financially, but can we afford another microphone, so the other commentator doesn't have to shout hysterically to be heard.
watch out beadles about
Agree mate i travel from Devon every home game and I will not leave till that final whistle shame on you early leavers they drive me barmy the last 10 15 mins Saturday is what you watch football for pure drama head in hands when they scored then ecstatic is not the right word to describe it and you so called fans weren't there to watch it mowbs bouncing around on the touchline was pure adrenaline Venus bouncing then Morrison trying unsuccessfully to restore some order was total theatre long may it continue and early leavers lock the gates Coyb
CLAsssss
Moulomby...should have calmed himself down. Like a big kid deliberatly winding up the oppostion players & fans....ended up getting Bartley sent off in the fracas of it all. Could be costly vs Blackburn...
ABSOLUTELY ROBBED. A PERFECT GOAL FROM GASSAMA WRONGFULLY STRUCK OFF. CHEATS.
Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah now shut up
The guy was offside and ran across the keepers line of sight so was interfering with play. Ruled out quite rightly.
@@JoyDivision88 YES YOUVE NOT LOOKED AT THE VIDEO EVIDENCE. WHEN THE SHOT WAS TAKEN WINDASS WAS 6 METERS TO THE LEFT AND 4 METERS BEHIND THE KEEPER.
AWFUL DECISION. CHEATS
@@JoyDivision88 IF IT WOULD OF RIGHTFULLY STOOD KNOWBODY WOULD OF COMPLAINED
I winner 🏆 5000$ 😂😂 thanks west brom)
