I've this car. Same model i.e 2010. I also changed rims from 12" to 13" but i never felt that the steering has went hard, my car's steering is even more smoother after that.
Had this car from 2007 to 2010. Made 11 trips from Karachi to Islamabad and back and drove it for 119,000 kms. Very good suspension, engine and AC. Never had any trouble.

@matdiaries9952 no issue as far as you maintain the machine....all it asks for is timely change of lubricants, filters and cleaning of plugs

I Also have this car model 2006, its AC is Excellent and Drive is So Smooth. No heat up Issues with AC even in 48 C Temperature. Best in 5 lack Budget Car
If kept with care, this car is a best option ☺
Needs ring piston change after every 3 to 4 years
I drove this car to kellash vellay from lahore and believe me it did an incredible job , it is a mini beast

@ciybersal Because the uae has a strict car safety check up. So, if a local Pakistani production car is able to pass the test then it's an achievement.
If you don't like Pakistani cars then it's a personal decision.

I owned 2 altos for 2 years now I shifted to swift. Here are its known cons: very bad fuel average, it gives 8, 9 with AC and without AC 10. While swift 1.3 is giving me 12 with AC. Alto has fuel pump issue. Its fuel pump chocked every year. Baki it is smooth car. And I like the shape and interior. My love because it was my first car.
I own this car (model 2007), got it's carburetor repaired, after that, mileage reached upto 14 (without AC) and 10 - 11 (with AC, depends upon route). Power-wise it's a good car with good pick up. maintenance cost is low. but the thing that irritates the most is engine noise and sound proofing. Also, there is a problem of leg room for slightly taller passengers. i would like to go with that power steering thing, please specify a shop at Bilal Gunj if possible. Thanks!
Same model and same experience i had, as for as power steering concerns, your mechanic can also lead to bilal gunj, otherwise you can visit personally, not a big deal.

@@haseebali499 given current prices of the car if this car is in good condition e.g. engine, body, interior, exterior etc. It's value for money. Way better than the likes of Prince pearl, United bravo that you would get for around 15 lacs. Just get it checked by trustworthy mechanic, if all OK then I think you should go for it. For the pricing do some research e.g. pak wheels and some local show rooms

I have alto vxr 2005 in city 12-14 with ac and on long route 17 confirmed Islamabad, murree,multan,sahiwal no issue in parts if you have a honest mechanic a little change in fuel jets you can achive the mileage and get better chilled ac cutoff the heater pipe in summer

I have 2009 model since 1 year in karachi, it is giving max 8 km/l in city, with ac or without remains same average. Even though I have serviced spark plugs, carburetor and installed fuel pump inside as it was outside when I bought it. But no difference in average yet. I have company fitted cng as well and once when I checked it gave around 145 km in one cylinder in city without ac. Wanna get rid off cng, can you guide how to improve average on petrol?
@@MK-zm5lr hello M K, how did you figure out the issue then? I have recently bought a 2008, and facing the same situation! I also want to get rid of yhe CNG but the car is giving pathetic average on petrol. If you had it sorted out, could you please share.
@@SyedFahadAliShah93 I couldn't sort it out after showing it to different mechanics and wasting money so recently I sold it out and booked new Alto 660cc. However recently once I talked to an Alto 1000cc owner, his average figures were better than mine even though he is using an old 1000cc model. On inquiring he told me due that he has changed the engine the old one was damage due to fire.
@@SyedFahadAliShah93 so one remedy can be installation of good engine. Because his petrol avg was more than 10 mine is 8, and CNG average around 20km/Kg where is mine was 15km/Kg before the last winters
Love Altos review.
I had bought the suzuki alto just a month before. Its 2012 model with CNG and has far better suspension , petrol effecient , good brakes , awesome AC. Its a more better car then coure and mehran in the economy sector within a budget.

What is the difference between EFI and carburetor?
Carbureted vehicle are non-computerised carburetor is an old fuel injection system not controlled by ECU or any Module it's adjusted manually..
EFi is new modern Fuel Injection system which is computerised
I have used this car for 10 years .. only drawback is leg room ... previous seat .... especially people with 5-10 ft height will struggle badly.
And the other main problem was Fuel economy ...
I think fuel economy is not bad, it gave me about 12 13 on motorway

Sunil bhai 2011 nahi 2012 tak aae te 1000cc alto. Fuel average eske intehae faxol hai aisa nahi lagta k yai suzuki walo ke choti gadi hai es sai 1.6 and 1.8 ke average achi hai aor gears tho etni jaldi jaldi مانگتی hai phucho math 40 speed mai he 4 gears char jatai hain 5th k leyai 60 to 70
