About a year and a half ago I made a choice to choose to do something greater than continuing the path I was on every turn I took though seemed to be more impassible than the last, my best friend played me this song one night in my hardest times the loss of my son and my a friend of more than 15 years everything I was struggling with was things normal people handle yes hard but they handle it wasn’t until I really sat listening to the word to the song that i realized that I had already gone so far and to turn back was more hazardous than good I was at my lowest of lows in life fighting to get back up and I had to just trust that even though I was broken down I had to trust god to bring me through it and know that the plan he had and still has was worth it. I hear this song now and I know broken down beaten and wanting to give up is where I was now I hold faith in life that god will help me through the hardest of moments and I just have to trust because if not I stay stuck. And then even longer if I counted the total body count of my entire life. Either way I feel ur pain. There is no pain like it and it is the worse the closer u are to that individual. If there is one thing I am gona teach n pass to my young at the right time, is don't hold grudges or take anyone for granite. It aint worth double the pain when that person is gone and you left on bad terms. Life is truly a blessing and the people you meet and the relationships you grow is really all you got in the end. So while the pain is deep and real as a bitch, I can still sit here, bawling my eyes out sometimes lookin crazy and be thankful to god for every day getting me to make a new memory, a new friend, a new purpose.
