I think knowing lowest salary helps more. I have seen a lot of people in XLRI getting 8-10 lakh. I think they should keep a package cap of minimum 15lakh like ISB does as.
Otherwise paying off 25lakh fee loan would become nightmare for those getting salary below 12 lakh.

XL has become profile based since this year.... a lot more weight was given to the GDPI and overall profile... Also...all top 5 consulting firms come at XL....including bcg, bain, mckinsey...

Yes MBA make sense.. but executive 1 year MBA program
Global mba is not a flagship program. It pgdm-gm, 15 months program for people with at least 5 years of work ex.

U mentioned global MBA as one of the main programs ,I guess 1 year General management program, meant for candidates having 5 yr work ex and above ,is one of the flagship programs rather than global MBA. So XLRI offers 3 programs with degrees PGDM-BM ; PGDM-HR, PGDM-GM ..
You are correct. Pgdm-gm is a flagship program. Not global mba. It is a 15 month program for people with 5+ years of work experience.

90+ throughout is good 95+ is excellent...iim abc takes in people with these kind of academics and as a fresher you would be judged by your academics even for your ppo and final placements.

@@macx8360 my friend and batchmate who cheated in 10th and 12th is in iim a ...he belongs to st category..I've scored 99.5 percentile in cat 2017 didn't get any calls from iim abc but my friend scored 90 and got into iim a..btw we both have participated in national, international competitions so on paper he was really good.
So for iim a you require a non-eng background+ st category+ national international certificates and that's it...btw if you happen to be a mediocre and you got into iim abc take my word you will regret it for lifetime the competition is very crucial and so are the placements ..in sip all the good companies would ignore you.
The main agenda is placements and that's the reason if you don't have stellar academics and high end profile you won't get an admit to a top notch bschool ...it's simple if you want the best even the recruitment companies want the best.
