So this what I understood from the lore: Cassandra is part of the Dearest family, GF basically being her younger (?) sister. Due to mistreatment and neglect from her family, her parents focusing more on GF , Cass practically let herself became vulnerable to spirits possessing her easily that’s why in Takeover while angry she’s trying to keep the Penilian from taking over her body as her body serves as a host for those spirits to control. Cass is also into heavy dark magic which due her practicing dark magic multiple times , resulted in her having a different appearance from her family but before she found out about dark magic she pretty much resembled GF at some point. Cassandra has this spell book with dark magic spells on her all the times in case she feels like someone could take control over her body. In Takeover , Cass practically asked BF to sing with her as the song could serves as a spell to protect both her and them from the Penilian who’s trying to take control. Edit: In Possesion, Cass is practically telling BF that he’s not 100% safe with the Dearest Family... I guess? Edit 2: so apparently Cassandra in this lore does have a demonic version and I will guess that the two big horn of hair is where she hides her actual horns

I don't know if the mod's supposed to be an alternate universe or just an alternate interpretation, but in the Pico canon, Cassandra will never change; Cassandra's human form is a disguise; she's evil through and through due to the nature of her being a Penilian (the "final form" is who she really is)
This is one of the few old fnf mod songs I'd love to listen to more, it's got such a great atmosphere Originally I didn't like this song because it didn't really sound like a takeover, as in a "world domination" thing, which in that case this song definitely doesn't fit. This is absolutely beautiful I’m upset I didn’t see this sooner this will be added to my “songs I listen to when my insomnia won’t go away” playlist 💗 Edit: And my head canon will forever be until I change it, Cassandra is basically fighting off her other form and trying to calm down since we won against her in the other songs and she’s upset about it, but it’s to strong so bf is helping her fight it off. In the end we succeeded if we get through the entire song without losing if we don’t win the entire song it’s a different story but as if now if we win we save Cassandra from her other form.

Oh my... I really wish I heard about this mod sooner. With Takeover specifically, I love it so much! From the intimidation of Possession, to the lavender-town-esque vibes in Realization, this is by far the best song, imo. You can just hear the lack of sanity from both of them in the song. It almost makes me feel bad... but then I have to re-wrap my head around the fact that there genuinely is no good ending for Cass, nor any of her friends, and I feel like Takeover highlights that perfectly. Sure, there was “Love Conquers All” , but that was a joke, clarified by the developer to be entirely fake. In the official game, their fates are inevitable. Destined, in fact. And that’s just sad, knowing that no matter what you do, you will always lose. Worst part is, I can’t even say that this was a misunderstanding. It is literally her unfiltered, unshackled violence, derived from her consistent emotional abuse, turning her into a “monster”, when all she wanted to do was destroy the thing that made her that way. Her method of execution, however, was really wrong, which is what I think led to her failure to eradicate the horrible sections of the world. That, combined with a lack of communication between the two sides. Edit: I found the hidden thing in the video! The binary at the end of the video translates to “I am a monster” to which that kinda checks out ngl.
Alright, you said to theorize so thats what ima do: So to start off, the tone of the song. I get a fairly sad vibe from it, especially when Cass is singing. I'm not sure when this song comes up since you already said the names of the first 3 songs, but I'm going to assume that this is a secret 4th song. With that being said, im going to theorize what happens in song 3 too. Cassandra gets mad at BF for beating her at the first 2 songs and turns into her roac- i mean Penalin form. Also during the first 2 songs, BF was trying to convince Cass to...calm down and not be a bad person anymore...? Idk how to explain it but that's the closest ill get. Anyway, Cass gets mad and turns Penalin not only cuz she got mad about being beaten but also trying to deny BFs words (You know, like the Steven vs Spinal fight scene :p). By the end of the song however, BF successfully convinces Cass to be gud... And that's where the 4th song comes in. Cass attempting to go back to her human form and stay there, but her Penalin side forcing her to stay how she is. BF throughout the song helping her go back to normal (Like the corruption mod-) and succeeds in the end. And thats it! I'm obviously probably 100% wrong, but it's just a theory... I swear, this song sounds like an angry cry for help from Cassandra. It’s as if she’s clinging to her normal self to sing out her pain in hopes that it’ll be heard. And this hits home for me because I had a dream that symbolized that I had a monster that will take over me/I’ll become the monster if I don’t open up. The way Cassandra hates that part of herself is how I feel about a part of myself too. The moment I started listening to the song, my chest and eyes instantly hurt because I was feeling the pain from this song. This song really helps to deeply paint her feelings, as if you’re in her position, feeling those feelings of self-hatred and sadness, yet a longing to be helped out of it. Good work, Ramen. My theory is that she let herself get go angry and her emotions made her lose her grip on that alien inside of her. So it took that opportunity to slip out, and her singing reflects the pain that she feels because she's tired of being possessed.

I'd just like to say, this is easily one of my favorite mods so far, and this song is one of my favorite mod songs so far.
My theory is that she let herself get go angry and her emotions made her lose her grip on that alien inside of her. So it took that opportunity to slip out, and her singing reflects the pain that she feels because she's tired of being possessed.
