Not sure if this has already been said, but I'd say that another reason why Bowser is much nobler than he would ever admit to be, is because he never ACTUALLY tries to hurt Peach whenever he kidnaps her. Hahaha, I dislike the game and I hated kersti the worst partner mario has ever had, also I’m still not sure why kersti was ranked higher than Olivia and was the second best partner on the Mario partner list, Kersti constantly complains, rarely helps battles, she was incredibly stupid that she got eaten by Petey piranha all because she wanted to see the lava, and she barely interacted with Mario hiding in his pocket, Huey and Olivia at least came out and helped Mario even the final battles they did stuff. All kersti did was give Mario power that didn’t really need to be used just buy a bunch of red jump stickers and done.
I agree. Paper Bowser: a kid that puts on Darth Vader costume and wants to be the big bad guy and gets angry and cries when he doesn't get what he wants. Normal Bowser:a spoiled brat that wants everyone and everything to belong to HIM ( "gween Monkey! Gween Monkey! MINE! MINE!" "Why? I'll tell ya why! This castle? The dream stone? ITS ALL MINE! Everything belongs to Bowser!") And doesn't care if he kills MILLIONS in his quest of power (he blowed up islands in dream team, and destroys toad town in nearly every game, which could have killed many toads, and in the first mario game he killed all the toads by turning them into bricks) he is ready to do ANYTHING to get to what he wants.
They are parallel universes so we can only assume that everything that happens in the normal Universe also happens in the paper universe and vice versa
But then in Paper Jam, he tries to destroy the book where his world was in...? And that game came out _after_ Super, so I'd say Paper Bowser is as on/off as regular Bowser, albeit to a lesser extent
@@Goomba1309 i forgot about Paper Jam, oops. yeah, you're right there, but even then i still feel that Paper Bowser is more of a rival than an actual villain, he's simply just way too comical to actually be taken seriously when he goes big bad mode

Despite this not really being part of the video. Who thinks bowser jr and kamek should get their own full game. It sorta happened with bowser jr’s journey, but they both deserve more. Ever since that game and the origami king, they seem to be growing as a new duo. Who’s else agree
Although this game is not canon in terms of the Mario series, Bowser was also a good guy in “Skylanders: SuperChargers”. In said game’s prequel comic “Unexpected Allies”, Bowser and Donkey Kong became Skylanders after touching Rift Engines and harnessing their power. Now of course, seeing that this is Bowser we’re talking about, the Koopa King was initially indifferent towards the Skylanders’ cause of going on a quest to defeat Kaos and the Darkness and was more concerned with ruling his kingdom. However, he was told that if Kaos succeeded in conquering Skylands, then the Koopa Kingdom would be threatened as well due to the ever-growing power of the Darkness. It was only then when Bowser was willing to play hero once more to protect his domain.
Bowser can be a Selfish Naive and Even Childish at times Ruler, he still has Many aspects that make his personality a nuance of Good and Evil. He may act think and say he is someone who is Evil, but aspects like him ruling his army is actually that of a responsible Ruler, Because pretty much all of his minions follow Bowser Because they respect him, and considering he really loves his Kids, that may imply that Bowser is someone who likes taking care of someone and that may be why his minions love Bowser, he is pretty much a father figure to all of his army. And since he does team up with the rest of the mushroom kingdom in the past, Bowser could potentially be described as a socially Naive, Loyal, understanding, caring, funny, and mischievous anti-Villain Beast Dad.
Kirby is part of a race of primordial beings capable of eating entire universes at a whim. He is just an infant. So Kirby is the strongest I can tell you that much.
Don't forget Bowser's crucial role in Paper Mario: The Origami King, where he is actually a nice and supportive fellow (while still being Bowser, of course).
Please do Darksiders characters from good to evil and give the series the attention it deserves! Also I think you’ll find ranking the characters quite the challenge with all the stuff that goes on there!
Here’s the top 10 reasons 10:He is never invited to a party 9: he is an amazing architect 8:he goes go kart racing with Mario and his friends 7:everyone judges him without asking questions 6: he was just raised by a villain 5:He cares a lot for his kids wether it’s official or adopted 4:he teams up with Mario and his friends to save the world 3:he doesn’t want Mario to die 2:he treats his prisoners with respect 1:he wants to be the center of attention

like to think in world of lights intro bowser was protecting jr. sending him away to safety like palutena did for pit/dark pit(always felt the most sad for sonic since along with failing to save pikachu tails, amy, knuckles and his friends got hit by the beams, megaman with roll,dr. light and protoman & bayonetta who literally went to hell to save her friend jeanne only for her to get hit by the beams offscreen/since she originally along with palutena was going to survive it and help kirby.) and honestly consider super smash bros./the spinoff's outside the rpg's canon with how loose mario's narrative is. always loved that about bowser compared to how one note boring ganondorf is in that the koopa king can be very versatile causing galaxy wide chaos and framing mario to joining into sports(saving mario from wario and waluigi/daisy letting him & jr. join the party on her ship in the ending in super sluggers, just wanting to have a friendly game of tennis in 64 and not bothering mario's group when chasing wario/waluigi in golf.) and not being that against working with mario while still being awesomely funny & even badass when teamed up in the rpg's. always loved his moments with princess peach(with odyssey he did just kidnap her, forced piranha plants into her face and mario probably should've waited until they were back in the kingdom before popping the question.), his troops(not getting mad at them for leaving in rpg and being a good boss giving them a vacation after the wedding fails in super mario odyssey's artbook, especially love princess peach being his phone wallpaper.) and his son(especially telling his son the truth in sunshine, trying to save him in bowser's fury and the bonding they have in the switch online shorts, wish we'd see more mario/nintendo series shorts.:3)/the koopalings when they're together showing more of his personality.
Bowser is a villain whenever the script calls for it. Mario and the rest are actors. It's why they have games where Bowser is a villain, or commercials where he's a good dad. 1) Super Mario 3 was admitted to be a stage play. They even have items hanging with strings. 2) In Super Mario All Stars, the title screen shows them all conversing with each other as if they are backstage. They stop when the lights come on. 3) In Mario 64, Bowser breaks the 4th wall and references that it's a video game. (In fact, they reference the fact that they are in video games quite a lot 😂 )
Now you should do a list of moments where Ganondorf shows that he isn't all bad whether that be showing signs of humanity or even doing legitimately good things. And I even have some examples Putting his differences aside with Link and Zelda in Subspace Emmisary to stop Tabuu. Joining up with the fighters to stop Gallem and Dharkon. Killing Astor ( I know that doesn't sound good on the surface but trust me Astor is even worse than Ganon) The monologue of his past in Wind Waker Being a more welcoming and affable guy in Animal Crossing Also I know the list is quite short but still I think a video like this with Ganondorf would be interesting.
@@Wolfywolf7 not really they are the same person and unless someone botches his resurrection turning him into a mindless beast thanks to the ritual being incomplete they share the same personality.
Also, “Supporting his [Bowser’s] fellow Bad-Amon members” (“Wreck-it Ralph”). In that movie, Bowser and the other Bad-Amon members (who are all video game villains in one way or another) are just decent folk going on with their daily lives. Or as Zangief puts it “One game at a time”.
@@theotakutopian7426 Honestly I watched the video, with all my respect to the guy, anyone can easily debunk these arguments, besides how are playing tennis, partying and helping Mario not out of kindness but for your own selfish goals is any kind of "good"?
I feel like what also sets him apart from other Nintendo villains is the fact that l, from what I know, is how we dont really know what he will do if he wins. We also never see him kill anyone or cause a death indirectly. Whereas other Nintendo villians absolutely have a body count and we see that. Ridley is completely evil, he killed samus' parents in front of her as a kid. And if you wanna get really fancy, in the manga he eats them in front of her. Yikes! And ganondorf is often seen to kill people, either in text or we just see it straight up in twilight princess when he kills a sage. And then in breath of the wild he wins and causes complete devastation and kills hundreds of thousands of people. Then in age of calamity we do get to see it a bit more close up. And then bowser, whose been most destructive in mario galaxy, I'm pretty sure no one got hurt too bad. Honestly the worst thing he does is not respecting women and in the terms of villians that's not too bad.
Teaming up with King Dedede: The very end of Subspace Emissary. Another example where he starts off on the wrong side, working with Ganondorf to turn all of the heroes into trophies. However, the pair eventually realizes how far out their league everyone is, and agree to work with Dedede and Link respectively.
In a comic about superchargers,we see DK and Bowser arriving to the Skylands, and while DK wanted to help, Bowser DIDN'T want to join them at first,he only joined when Buzz (I think that's his name, the guy who's missing an eye) said that if they got to Skylands,Kaos could also go to the mushroom kingdom and attack it,only THEN did Bowser decide to help.
Even though Bowser is a bad guy, he does some good and sometimes teams up with Mario and Luigi especially in one of the Paper Mario Games, heck he's even a great father to Bowser Jr. The Nintendo Switch Parental Controls Ad proves it as well!😈☺️
Now we know Bowser only wants to marry Peach to control the Mushroom Kingdom, but in games like Mario 64, we didn't know what his motives were. In Mario 64, the Whomps say that they build houses but always get stepped on and don't even get a "thank you", and now they're part of Bowser's army. Basically they joined because the Mushroom Kingdom did them dirty and they want revenge. It can still technically be Bowser using their will for revenge to his advantage but... In Super Mario Bros. (the original), we learn in the instructions booklet that the Goombas used to be the Mushroom Kingdom's allies but rebelled and joined the Koopa army. So I think it's a pretty interesting idea to think that the Mushroom Kingdom did the Goombas, the Whomps, the Koopa Kingdom, and who knows who else, dirty. And because of that, they teamed up to overthrow Peach and make a better Mushroom Kingdom. Or maybe Bowser is just evil ^^'
Bowser is also a good guy in Super Mario Party. There’s no bowser spaces in that game, him and his troops are playable characters as they normal party guests. And he tell Kamek to help Toad and Toadette make the party plaza.
@@Wolfywolf7 That is a speculation with absolutely no proofs, that's like saying lord hater isn't evil because Wander wants to be his friend, even though lord hater destroys planets for no other reasons than "I'm bored" the reason they invite Bowser is because they are nice, not because HE is nice, and they do invite king boo, where have you been? King Boo has been in these games since the begining. And before you tell me "different king boos" you're wrong, because in Mario and Sonic omlympics,King Boo has a conversation with a boo,King Boo says something about how he defeated Mario, the boo then says "but I heard that luigi-" then king boo interrupted the boo in anger, that's an OBVIOUS referance to Luigi's mansion, and that boo has the same design as the ones in the other party, kart and etc games, the reason he looks different in the Luigi mansion games is because he has a gem on his crown, which is the reason his eyes are purple.
@@Wolfywolf7 I do agree these two boos definitely have differences, but still,in Mario slugger for example King K.rool is said to have a good chemistry with king boo,yet it wouldn't make sense if these two boos aren't the same, because the only reason I can think of that they have good chemistry is because they are REALLY FOCUSED onto KILLING their enemies,King K.rool wants to kill the kongs and is completely crazy about it,Luigi's mansions king boo wants to kill Luigi and is completely crazy about it,so it make sense, but if these two boos aren't the same then it doesn't make sense anymore, but it's true there are more evidences pointing to them being different, but it's overall a really weird subject, but I'd agree you're right here, they must be different characters.
Bowser Isn't a Bad Guy, he's an antagonist (the opposite of the protagonist) but more than that, yes, he has flaws like everyone, he's ambitious a bit brutal, cocky and don't really know how to react with Peach, the princess that he likes. But even though he has flaws, Bowser is powerful, can be clever, know when to put his pride aside and join his rivals when necessary, he's a good father, and a good king, even if he shout at his minions, he care for them (as shown in bowser's inside story when he sees them in a cage), and if no one want to rebel against him, it's because despite his violence, they respect Bowser, he's not only a king he's THE king of koopas, and no one will ever disagree this fact.
He is still a bad guy, sure,he's a great king to HIS people, but only to HIS. In dream team bros Bowser wanted to take over the world and tried to murder Mario and Luigi by wishing the dream stone to dissapear 'em, in paper jam bros he enslaved toads and blew up peach's castle while toads were still inside and then he almost burnt down the paper book at the end of the game,in Mario Galaxy he tried to take over the universe, and if he ruled the mushroom kingdom toads would either be turned to bricks, enslaved,or locked up,like I said he only cares for the people of HIS kingdom,he doesn't care for anyone who hasn't got anything to do with the koopa clan, and he still wants to take over the world, in the thousand years door he was like "hmmmm...these sound like good world conquering tools! I want 'em!" He definitely is a bad guy, just not PURE evil as he loves his minions, son and people and is a good king to them, but he's still a power hungry warlord who'd stop at NOTHING to get what he wants.
@@melaniev4390 Oh, yeah, that's the worst he voluntary did, when he was still "king koopa" and not bowser when "peach" was princess "toadstool" and it's not like he killed them, since the spell wasn't permanent (since Toadstool could undo it) I did some research, and to be honest, you bring something from a game where Mario's universe wasn't even created, where it was only a game without link to anything

So other moments where Bowser is a good guy: In Paper Mario the Origami King he actually asks for Mario’s help after being a bit folded by Olly. He also helps join the final fight to defeat Olly and even comforts Olivia. So he is in fact a good person and turtle
Generally bowser is evil and all but if there’s something bigger than him going on he’s willing to reluctantly join with Mario’s side to stop it

For Being a Dude That Kidnaps Princesses & Taken Over the Galaxy... TWICE! He’s actually a Really Good Dad & Saves the World Multiple Times!
He saved the world multiple times for his own selfish reasons.
Paper Mario Origami King. He encourages Olivia too.
In a future game, Bowser should be a full-time companion

No that's just a bunch of double talk he a bad guy
Bowser actually wants to kill Mario while Mario leaves him in most cases just unconcious and let Bowser accept his defeat.
Bowser? A good guy? The very idea.
1:02, I have been writing about that therory of three years also writting a novel series of that.
Bowser didn't get his spirit stolen, he was tied up like everyone else so that Galeem create puppet fighters of him.
He also saved Mario from a Bullet Bill launched by Wario & Waluigi at the end of Mario Super Sluggers.
like to think in world of lights intro bowser was protecting jr. sending him away to safety like palutena did for pit/dark pit(always felt the most sad for sonic since along with failing to save pikachu tails, amy, knuckles and his friends got hit by the beams, megaman with roll,dr. light and protoman & bayonetta who literally went to hell to save her friend jeanne only for her to get hit by the beams offscreen/since she originally along with palutena was going to survive it and help kirby.) and honestly consider super smash bros./the spinoff's outside the rpg's canon with how loose mario's narrative is.
always loved that about bowser compared to how one note boring ganondorf is in that the koopa king can be very versatile causing galaxy wide chaos and framing mario to joining into sports(saving mario from wario and waluigi/daisy letting him & jr. join the party on her ship in the ending in super sluggers, just wanting to have a friendly game of tennis in 64 and not bothering mario's group when chasing wario/waluigi in golf.) and not being that against working with mario while still being awesomely funny & even badass when teamed up in the rpg's.
always loved his moments with princess peach(with odyssey he did just kidnap her, forced piranha plants into her face and mario probably should've waited until they were back in the kingdom before popping the question.),
his troops(not getting mad at them for leaving in rpg and being a good boss giving them a vacation after the wedding fails in super mario odyssey's artbook, especially love princess peach being his phone wallpaper.) and his son(especially telling his son the truth in sunshine, trying to save him in bowser's fury and the bonding they have in the switch online shorts, wish we'd see more mario/nintendo series shorts.:3)/the koopalings when they're together showing more of his personality.

Wrong
Now you should do a list of moments where Ganondorf shows that he isn't all bad whether that be showing signs of humanity or even doing legitimately good things. And I even have some examples
Putting his differences aside with Link and Zelda in Subspace Emmisary to stop Tabuu.
Joining up with the fighters to stop Gallem and Dharkon.
Killing Astor ( I know that doesn't sound good on the surface but trust me Astor is even worse than Ganon)
The monologue of his past in Wind Waker
Being a more welcoming and affable guy in Animal Crossing
Also I know the list is quite short but still I think a video like this with Ganondorf would be interesting.
@@Wolfywolf7 not really they are the same person and unless someone botches his resurrection turning him into a mindless beast thanks to the ritual being incomplete they share the same personality.

There is that time where Bowser was a skylander which technically makes him a good guy
Next could you do undertale characters good to evil?
Talks about being a good guy and he kidnaps the princess lol
Even though Bowser is a bad guy, he does some good and sometimes teams up with Mario and Luigi especially in one of the Paper Mario Games, heck he's even a great father to Bowser Jr. The Nintendo Switch Parental Controls Ad proves it as well!😈☺️
Well that one point of bowser that he care about his son bowser Jr since Mario sunshine.
Bowser adopted Bowser jr. and the koopalings, but Mario just comes in and hurts them.
if bowser is a good guy, then i'm a real koopa
Bowser is plenty of things but threaten his home he'll fight to save it
Ganon is similar he's definitely evil but if you betray him he'll work with his eternal enemies to get rid of you.
@@chadpeterson5698 Ganondorf will most likely betray you before you betray him.
This video *definitely* proves that Bowser in the Super Mario Bros. Movie should've reformed himself to good!
He's a good dad, unlike the SML one who just beats his son
Especially in the deleted episode junior's punishment (to my opinion it's the one course meal of SML)

Bowser is also a good guy in Super Mario Party. There’s no bowser spaces in that game, him and his troops are playable characters as they normal party guests. And he tell Kamek to help Toad and Toadette make the party plaza.
Just because he plays games with them doesn't excuse everything he has done.

Bruh he literally turned the toads into bricks do ya research
@@melaniev4390 Oh, yeah, that's the worst he voluntary did, when he was still "king koopa" and not bowser when "peach" was princess "toadstool" and it's not like he killed them, since the spell wasn't permanent (since Toadstool could undo it)
I did some research, and to be honest, you bring something from a game where Mario's universe wasn't even created, where it was only a game without link to anything
@@melaniev4390 mainly, what he wants is conquering the world, or even the universe, and be with peach, but each time, it's only brutal attempts, but wanting to conquer something isn't bad on itself, it's how it is done, and apart from turning toads to bricks, he's not as evil as he tries to pretend
