Everyone who finds an outstanding artist feels this way, the problem is there's like hundreds maybe thousands of them floating around on the internet but due to our atomized culture no one finds it worth the effort to ask other people who are into music what music they listen to, so you only find whatever some algorithms think you'll like. It's like every non mainstream musician and their fanbases dwell on these separate islands, all feeling like they've found the promised land but no one thinks to get on a boat and see if their is anything else out there. And for the record I'm not that different tbh.

Listen to Hi This is Flume, seriously.] Sophie [obviously, just listen to her whole discography as it’s unfortunately small but all gems], EPROM and G Jones [“acid disk” collabs are sick, and Eprom’s tune Understanding the Possibility is one of the most memorable electronic tunes I’ve heard ever]. Hudson Mohawke [also a really one of a kind artist, the second TNGHT record is pretty great, I still need to check out his last release Cry Sugar, his recent three records BBHE, Poom Gems, Airborn Lard give a good sense of his scope]. Lesser Known: This guy called “Yoylecake Michael”, [oh my god, talk about a random unexpected genius no one knows about. Really just some random guy who isn’t even a musician primarily, but just had a sound and a touch you’ve never heard. You have to listen to understand. Just listen to any of his tunes, every one is different. He’s definitely also on the top of my list of one of a kind musicians.] Check out the Halcyon label, so many gems there. A hiphop artist called Tisakorean is also just a random dude with such a powerful approach. Check out “Jam2Go”, another person for whom music is not their exclusive thing, they write highly aesthetic music for a highly aesthetic game they just released. Bickle, another really unique quite one of a kind artist, most of their stuff is on bandcamp but the UA-cam releases will give you a feel. Chuck Sutton, god I sound like a broken record, really bold and free sense of rhythm in his tunes if you’re on that kind of vibe. Femtanyl, very aesthetic intense electronic music, hard to describe, just listen, I like their tune “murder every 1 u know”. Rude by Twikipedia is a great tune. Bill wurtz if you’re unaware, not really electronic, but needs a mention. Sevish, a true microtonal artist, pretty cool. And that’s just electronic music. If I didn’t keep a playlist it’d be hard to remember all these names, but this is the real cream of the crop of all my electronic musical exploration till now, every pick a standout. Lmk how many you’ve already heard of ^^
