He said this habit is a recent development encouraged by brake fluid makers to sell more oil. My previous car went 200,000 miles and ten years without any interference with the brake fluid. This car died when the timing chain flew off.
the spark plugs I will only tighten by hand, easy to strip the aluminum head and hard to fix, and I would not drain the master too far you might get air in the lines especially if you have abs, I didn't see if you bled the brakes.....overall good video
Ya power tools shouldn't be used at any point during a spark plug job. Ask anyone who's sheered a spark plug in the head how much of a fun time it is to fix it...lol
You put the cabin filter the wrong way. The arrow should point down, not up. Also when you put new spark plugs it is a good idea to turn counter clock until it clicks, then tight them. That way they are not going wrong on threads. The spark plugs from the factory are Denso, yes, but NGK are okay if they are made for this engine.
I can see how using a drill like that can f it but he's just getting them 90 percent on and cranking them tight by hand, can't be that bad unless you snug em with the drill you know? Or am I wrong? Please let me know
engine cold, remove and replace one plug at a time, no empty plug holes for stuff to fall into.insert new plug on length of fuel pressure hose and start plug with finger pressure then torque up as usual, no risk of cross threading.
Some people are just fanatical. My 2002 Corolla (same model) explicitly states Denso OR NGK. So it's not just Denso only. I'm sure those Autolites are probably fine, it's not a race car it's a Corolla, and they're easy to get to. My manual, at least, says nothing about having to use iridiums. At least this car is being maintained at all which is better than some.
You don't put anti sieze on your plugs? Also electrical grease on your ignition coils? And I wouldn't use a rattling gun for that aluminium block, just hand tools.

Has partido un trozo de carcasa de bobinas por desmontar bruscamente con la taladradora. No has limpiado los recintos de bujías antes de desmontarlas. Montas las bujías bruscamente con taladradora y no usas llave dinamométrica. Poco fino a la hora de trabajar.
@@ONeal397 my original denso iridium spark plugs lasted 320000km. NGK iridium won’t last nearly as long. Denso is original equipment manufacturer. NGK might be good to use on all Asian makes, but denso takes the win for reliability.
@@ONeal397 Toyota fitted Denso spark plugs from the factory ,it's been optimised to work with Denso . It will work with other spark plugs brands but why change..? Is it slightly cheaper NGK ? Keep it original , use as much as possible original factory parts and it will last forever. But you are free to use what you wish . I used once some fancy BOSCH spark plugs and my mpg went down and it wasn't running smooth or quick on acceleration, changed back to old used Denso and what a difference it was, since then only Denso .
You don’t replace that any more unless failure. Not like the old days. I remember replacing the carb engine ones. The injection engines are pressurized.
Has not been listed in a Toyota manual for 20 years. Because gas is so refined now nothing to clog it.thats why you replace it if fails its in gas tanks now.

I do recommend you do only one thing at a time. That way if anything goes wrong, you know exactly what part you changed, that would cause issue.

Agree, never use power tools to install plugs into a modern day (aluminum) head...not worth the risk to save 60 seconds.
He wouldn't have broke that little plastic rail that holds the coil connectors if he would have removed with a hand tool.

I have 2003 Corolla also. For PCV, I also replaced the 2 hoses.
Looks like you tore the rubber pipe which goes to the PCV valve when you pluged it back. Look closer at 15:47

Do not tighten your spark plugs like that! Do it by hand, or you risk fusing the plugs to the cylinder head. You have been warned.

Some already come pre coated from factory
Autolite sparkplugs ?!?!? OEM plugs cost the same I wouldn't deviate from the NGK or Denso plugs.

Check you brake reservoir, the float might stuck on the botton that why your brake light is on. Just he it couple time and it will come back up.
