Yeah, my Freshpark ramp only weighs 80 pounds! I use a 2 wheel hand truck to move it. But, considering I won it, I'm going to enjoy it with my Sledge, (which I won also,) and my Maxx.
Yeah, those need a strong servo and an adjustable servo saver. The whole steering setup from the Kraton EXB is the move.

Great vid Mark! I've been looking at these ramps for a couple of months and I'm so glad to see how it came packed. Be great to see what it folds down to for traveling. The beauty of these ramps is packability. The local park just became a jump spot.
There's a reason why it is not on the EXB side. The holes are different sizes. The plastic chassis braces use an M3 bolt, whereas the red metal EXB braces use an M4 bolt. 😉 5:35
Put some thicker shock oil and tighten the springs slightly so it doesn't bottom out on the ramp from the compression when you hit the ramp. Your ramp will last longer and the truck will jump much more predictably and land without major bounce.
Love the channel, not sure why but 90% I tend to skip through a lot of your videos to specific spots instead of watching them all the way through.
Just you weak saver for the tires turning in the air. I put snap rings above the spring to tighten mine

Get a heavy duty servo saver spring too. I think those still come with the black spring. You want the chrome one.
love my notorious!!! id upgrade or bring a spare servo stock one sucks. Should shim diffs too with extras that come with it. 2 per diff ring gear side.
On the topic of if you could choose any ARRMA for free, I’d definitely go with the 6s platform like Mark did, but I’d go with the Kraton EXB. You get 7075 bulkheads, 7075 chassis, 7075 chassis supports, and ARRMA updated pretty much every weak spot. I have one and I’ve only broken a top arm. If they came out with a Notorious EXB it’s be a tough call for me, but I’d probably still go with the Kraton. I drove a buddy’s Notorious once and it just feels so on edge and unstable compared to the stability of the Kraton. You can’t pull of backflips and wheelies for days though. The max I’ve done in my Kraton is a double backflip, so the air control is still respectable.

Arrma owns the 6S genre, they are just awesome, and the value is very high in my opinion.
Definitely throw a eco power servo in yours! It’s what I run in my noto and mannn is it the best servo I’ve ever ran paired with the hot racing servo mount as those stock ones like to rattle loose!

He won’t be. It’s an exb diff. I bash my kraton super hard and it hasn’t stripped them. Even my typhon doesn’t have issues.

i live 3 1/2 hours away from the FF and can't go to the arrmageddon event. i don't bash any of my race rc's but would take all 3 if i could go but just spent all my funds on a real truck since last month my other truck blew up

I have the 48" ramp by KCRC. 🤙
I bought the same charger with 2x2s batteries to run 4s on my 6s vehicles when just hitting the back yard or keep 6s at 75%. When charging the first time noticed one battery said number of charges 2 the other battery said 5. So I called horizon and they said if it has a green sticker on the box, the battery had been tested. I said the one with the green dot said 2nd charge, the other had no sticker but 3 more uses? He said he didn't know why it would do that. So I bought a 6s to run 6s as I didn't want a battery going out before the other as it seems they may play with them before sending them out.

That's why I stopped with this hobby.....over 200 dollars for a dang ramp? NO, just no...little battery powered RC trucks for hundreds of dollars is crazy rip off!! If everyone would stop paying these prices they would have no choice but to either file bankruptcy or drop the prices....like any market...people are so lazy and don't want to fight for anything anymore...... especially in this forsaken country...not even America anymore

Most RC companies barely turn a profit. That’s why they seem go out of business all the time. Sure the ramps expensive ; sure the cars are expensive but they’re not overpriced. I think you just have a fundamental misunderstanding of the market, just because the consumer won’t pay for the price won’t make it automatically cheaper. It has to be profitable. PS go change your profile picture, we’re not on Reddit.

This hobby is for adults that work and make decent money It has never been cheap. The technology that go into these is not toy grade. Plus the labor to pit them together. We are lucky nowadays. You have other hobby alternatives. Collecting rocks is cheap.

So I'm watching current videos of the event... It should have been $5 this year as it looks poorly planned. So the 15 might have been wrong for this year's event.
That's a little baby 200 $ ramp make your own for cheap and definitely bigger this one is too small and Mark you don't bash hard at all with is OK I don't watch your channel for bashing more then learning things about RC
