Natalie, I have been watching you almost since the beginning. I am so excited for you, I love the Athena drill! I'm most excited to see your living room makeover. I love the design that you are going with so far!
Natalie I had the same problem and the solution was the sleep number mattress. For over a year we have been enjoying our best sleep ever. My husband sets his side to firm while I get to sleep on a marshmallow and we are both in heaven. Our back pain is gone, snoring is gone...I can't say enough good things about it. The only thing the bed is missing which would put it over the top is some sort of internal temperature control to help with hot flashes. It's amazing!!!!!

I was going to recommend this bed also but I think, to help with snoring, be sure to get one that is adjustable also. I have one that doesn't and wish I did. Otherwise, love it!
Eight sleep is the answer for the hot flashes. It fits on your bed like a mattress topper and each person controls their side of the bed from their phone or tablet. @chrislyndennis7523 Thank You ❤ we love our adjustable bed as everyone mentioned here however I'm in the stages of life and it's really awful 😖 It's so frustrating washing your entire bedding and having that wonderful feeling only to have to peel yourself out of bed in the morning and redo everything again. I'm spending way to much time and effort on making sure our bed is fresh 😩 sorry for the 'TMI'.
@@designedtothenines NataLee, seriously, she is correct. I have had 2 neck surgeries and a lower back one from my disease. We had an amazing bed that I loved, and it came to where I felt like I was literally sleeping on concrete to where my husband would have to help me out of bed because the pain was excruciating. I spent 3 months sleeping on our recliner until we found the bed mentioned here, only ours is adjustable on both sides. I highly recommend getting. It allowed me to sleep for 6 years in a more upright position from my husband but still being able to be together.
Hi Natalee, just a thought....We lived in Florida on a golf course in 2004 . That year we had 4 hurricanes! We Invested in a film for our windows, that we could see out, yet there was a mirror reflection from the golf course. It strengthened our window to withstand hurricane force. It was fabulous!

Hi Natalie always nice to see you. I suggest a SLEEP NUMBER BED 2 separate beds on a king frame you can adjust firmness for each side raise the head up or feet up totally adjustable . Great video . Hi Dolly. Love the shoe shelf a few motion sensor light strips under each shelf would look awesome.

Yes! I use to have a memory foam topper on my side too because my husband liked a firmer mattress. Our solution was...the Sealy Cocoon mattress. It was the firmness he needed and oddly the softness that I needed. We both loved it so much we bought it for our guest bedroom and our company went home and bought the same mattress too. Great mattress!

I just finished redoing my closet in my winter home (mobile home wire shelf, yuk) and I love it now. Ripping out that wire was so thrilling. Now have wood shelves, 3 hanging areas and shoe rack, plus two tier top shelf.
Your approach makes so much more sense than spending the money to replace everything all at once. Those of us with champagne taste and a beer budget applaud. DIY Dolly chose well!

Dolly is SO cute!!! Is she a Cockapoo? Her ears have that cockerspaniel look. The room turned out great! Don't you just love Rustoleum?!! I hated my 26 yr old air vent floor covers but replacing them all would cost a small fortune! I found a Rustoleum color I LOVED and looked far better than the old color, cleaned them up and spray painted them last summer!! They look high-end now!! I'm also going to look into getting the drill...thank you for explaining some of the functions, I had no idea it was powerful enough for masonry, totally worth it!!! It's going to be so much fun watching you transform this house!! 😊❤

For the mattress issue. You could make a 3" platform for under your husbands box spring. Done and done.
Definitely an improvement to the bedroom. I would suggest putting two large mirrors where the ironwork pieces are. Tho they have a curved top I think they are dating the room. You could get mirrors with a curved top which would make the room even more elegant.
I miss my mom. She was an interior decorator and she would come to my home and help do just all these fun decorating things. My hubby would do all the drilling and building. You realize when they are gone how much they added to your life. Now I have you. Thanks for sharing

A sleep number bed can be adjusted on each side. We used one for years and each side was set to our liking...soft for me and firm for hubby. Highly recommend. I love your new picture.

Sleep Number would be the best bed for you guys. Very pricey, but worth it. I've had mine since 2001 and it's still like new! :)

Everything looks great and what a super assistant Dolly is. She reminds me of my Bichon Lulu. My bedroom belongs to her and I would not have it any other way ❤
Natalie...you should put some scones in the those iron decor pieces. AMAZON sells the kind you don't have to hard wire. This frees up the end tables and puts the lighting higher for a better optical experience ❤

Hi Natalee! We have a Sleep Number Bed!!! My husband needs firm and I need soft. We can change the firmness with a remote. We have had our bed for almost 12 years now and I would never sleep on anything else! My parents also have one and they have had it for 25+ years!!! They do last forever!

Definitely either a Sleepnumber OR Stearn and Foster Lux Estate!
Hubby likes "hard" i have to have soft. We loved our sleep number but it started to wearout (10yrs) so we replaced it with a stearns and foster lux estate. We loved/love both and they worked for both our taste in firmness.

You need to get a sleep number air mattress. Each side is separately adjustable. You can set up side as soft as you want! Good sleep awaits.

My husband and I had the same problem with mattresses only flipped. I liked the firm, he the soft. We bought a sleep number and solved it. His number was like 15-20 and my number was around 85-90. Big difference… we ended up with 4 different sleep number beds over 50 years. Even had select comfort before it was a sleep number.
That is how my husband and I are with our doggie is a poodle, too...lol.
Im from Scotland and love your videos, Im always surprised to see the wall and ceilings in American houses, we always aim to have pure flat plastered ceiling and walls, with absolutely no texture to it, you still have textured ceilings and walls which was in fashion here many years ago, love the new house.

Wow! I am impressed with the settings on the Athena! Starting home renovations and needed a drill that could tackle my fireplace (all brick to the ceiling) to hang my TV, so I decided that it is time I had my own drill! Ordered!!!
