This one really shows how they don’t need vocal gymnastics or gimmicks (which they can do if it’s appropriate for the song) to make amazing music. They let the song speak for itself and really shine! Thanks for doing this one! Another example of less is more with Home Free is “Helplessly Hoping”!
They did this in the same key as Miss Patsy Cline way back in the original in 1962....this was a loving tribute to one of the most iconic singers of all time
You should check out the 50th anniversary re-release of Don Mclean's 'American Pie.' Don Mclean did it with Home Free because, quote, 'they _get_ harmonies.'
Thank you Nat for more Home Free! Their arrangements are always so smart - top tier! This is the best cover I've ever heard of this song. In fact, it's the only version of "Crazy" I listen to now. Love Patsy Cline, don't get me wrong, but the harmonies in this are stunning. Thanks again! :-)
Yes, Sir, Nat! It’s such a simple song, done so very well, that it’s beauty shines through! Always enjoy your perspective on my favorite, Home Free! Please check out their patriotic cover (from UK band, Dire Straights) Brothers In Arms. It’s hauntingly beautiful and very unique. You will love it! Thanks for your HF reactions! Keep ‘em coming!
Love how much you enjoy the fellas and how skilled they are (whether it's a fun or serious song). For more harmony bliss, I recommend their cover of Helplessly Hoping or their original Good Ol' Country Harmony. For a fun time, I recommend Butts Remix or Country Fried Pop Medley (17 artists and 15 songs that they mash up).
Such a beautiful cover of this classic song. I listened to Patsy Cline growing up. Loved her voice & the emotion she conveyed in her songs. I think Home Free nailed it & did a beautiful tribute to her.
They sang their cover in the same key as Patsy! Love the black & white, and their harmonies are always on point! These guys are so under-rated in the Country music genre! They should be getting airplay because their music is playable and should be heard by many more people! I have heard some say (I agree with them) that Home Free is way better than most on mainstream radio. Thinking of who they are and how far they’ve come since their win on the Sing Off. They have a huge fan base without being heard on the radio! They really are doing very well. I was only trying to make a point, though.
Gorgeous arrangement! Adam Rupp did a great vocal job with his voice WOW! Austin Brown sang beautiful! And the harmonies were spot on!! Great reaction, Nat🎉 I love Home Free😊
Always love the perspectives that you bring to the channel. Thanks for reacting to Home Free. I think you will love their cover of Ain't Going Down Til the Sun comes up.
What a great reaction. Yes, definitely the best version of Crazy since Patsy Cline. They always do justice to the originators. Not only are their voices spot on, their arrangements are equally great. In England, they are called chips; in the US they are called fries. Fans of Home Free are called Home Fries (I don't really know why, but it fits us). We are a loyal and mostly friendly group. I have subscribed to your channel because you have reacted to Home Free. I hope you intend to react to more of their work. This is a massively talented group. I don't know if you knew this, but Tim Foust (whom you know from earlier reactions), is the dragon bass on the far right, and he has a range of 5+ octaves (G0-A5). As a matter of fact, this group has 5 tenors and 2 basses. Austin Brown (lead in this song) is the high tenor (Eb1-D6). Rob Lundquist (glasses & beard) is the low tenor (Bb1-G#5). Adam Rupp is the beatboxer and one of the founders of the group. His singing range falls somewhere between Austin's and Rob's. Adam Chance (called Chance - standing to Austin's right) is the baritone/bass. He runs the bass line when Tim sings higher. His range is G1 - F5. If you want harmonies, do try Helplessly Hoping or Seven Bridges Road. You will just adore them. For a spectacular arrangement, Do You Hear What I Hear is maximum great. Actually, pick any song from their list and I'm sure you will enjoy it.
Home Free just delivers a song in a way that speaks to my heart. The harmonies are delicious. Helplessly hoping is another that cuts out the " theatrics" & deliver perfection
Oh man, I loved it. Your statement calling it a vocal waterfall was epic!!!! REALLY enjoyed watching you enjoy them so much, thanks for sharing with us.
Mr Tenor PLEASE react to the song Home Free dropped last Friday....a cover of The Driver. I know you love harmonies, this one is a total "Eargasm" of harmonies....nice little video too.
Hey, Nat..I clicked on this one thinking it was the Ce Lo Green song by his band Gnarls Barkley. I’m glad it wasn’t the same song….I’m not sure any cover could compete. You’ve probably heard it since it was kind of everywhere for about a year. If you haven’t heard it, it is one you should react to please.

If Home Free does a cover.....chances are it will be your favorite version.
This is the best version of this since Patsy Cline....Home Free NEVER fails!
You should catch Tim Foust doing "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay"

I absolutely love the original and they definitely did it way way more than justice.
Totally agree with you. They nailed it, hit it out of the park and back again foe a second trip. Thank you for your great reaction.

Your so in to this song , and your absolutely right . It's a beautiful waterfall .
Tenor please react to Austin Brown’s version of Bring Him Home. It shows his vocal range and ability so well.
The version on Austin's solo channel is the best!!

Love this one. One of favorite songs ever . Grew up listening to Patsy Cline and that Era .
Your enthusiasm is contagious!!

Another great reaction, thank you. Completely agree, best cover of this song, ever! Austin sang it in the same key as Patsy Cline.
You are spot on. The best cover of this song! Thanks for the reaction!
I agree. Best cover of this song.
I've seen it said many times. "Home Free doesn't do covers, they do upgrades."
Love your reaction , so honest opinion and real . Love it , keep Home Free coming .
The best of the best!! Ty for your reaction
Amazing! Love what they done with it
This is a group of men that truly appreciate music. Thank you for the reaction. I have no favorites. It all about which of them can do the best.
Oh man, I loved it. Your statement calling it a vocal waterfall was epic!!!! REALLY enjoyed watching you enjoy them so much, thanks for sharing with us.
A vocal waterfall, I love that!!
Agreed...best rendition since Patsy Cline...and sung in the same key that Patsy sung it.

There's certain songs that shouldn't be tampered with and this certainly one.
