Paris, Place du Tertre (artist square), Montmatre - pickpocket prevention in description

We went to Paris for a week to see Taylor Swift, we caught a Paris St. Germain soccer game, went to Disneyland Paris, the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe. While this was my 8th time in Paris, my wife's second, it was my kids' first time there, so we kind of had to try to do it all.
Keeping safe from pickpockets in tourist areas is important. In all my trips to Paris, I've never been pickpocketed mostly because of using a money belt I keep in by front pocket with the string looped through my belt (kind of like a biker chain).
