SmartPLS 4 CB-SEM: Interaction Moderation and Saving Factor Scores

In this video I show how to use the moderation (interaction) feature in SmartPLS CB-SEM, as well as demonstrate the generate dataset from factor scores feature.

SmartPLS automatically standardizes the appropriate variables. There is also an option to change the method for how that’s done.

Hi Gaskin. what are the implications if I fail to correlate my independent variables during my path analysis in CB SEM. does it have any impact on my results?

SmarPLS 4 has a checkbox for automatically correlating exogenous variables. Failing to covary them will change the covariance based model by excluding certain parameters (it will affect model fit and regression weights).
