I really love this band. When they first started they opened for one direction and was considered a boy band. I never listened to their old stuff but there newer stuff starting with young blood got me into them they are actually amazing live performers and talented musicians. I like that all 4 of them can sing well. I also love michaels scruff in his voice. Maybe scruff isn't the right word but when he sings hurricane it sounds like scratchy okay maybe that's not the write word either lol but I like when it's not perfectly clean

These 4 guys have been the best thing that ever happened to me, they really saved me and made me feel at home. In addition to the incredible talent they have for writing, singing and playing songs, they are also wonderful people who have been through a lot but keep going giving us everything and also a reason to keep going. This is my favourite 5SOS song - actually, my favourite song EVER, always has and always will be. So I was soooo happy when they played this live! The live version is always so powerful and emotional and I love it so much. Mikey having his moment at the beginning, and then the rest of the band comes in. I hope they play it on tour because this will be my first concert and I really want to hear it live 🖤
Everything about this performance just kills. Their outfits, the lights, of course the music, the guitars, the drums, the vocals!!! It's fantastic. It's unbelievably amazing.
They all look so amazing too. The visual aspect is just perfect too. Ashton looking up from the drums is perfect, when Michael raises his hand at the beginning, Luke's movements around the stage as he plays the guitar, Calum as he stands in his kilt and sings his solo. It's just breathtakingly awesome.
But the music is also obviously so freaking fantastic. All their voices are just perfectly suited for the individual parts and the backups, the guitars and the drums. I don't know much about music so I won't embarrass myself but the entire production is just fan-freaking-tastic.
The way they pour everything into their performance. I'm not spiritual or religious but this is I think as close to spiritual I'll ever get - when I listen to this particular song, this particular performance, I feel like I'm flying and nothing else matters, just for 4 minutes and 4 seconds. 🖤
