Dogs don't really stand side to side with things they don't see as family. If they're nervous or angry at something they're gonna face it.
Colby/Staffy are extremely empathetic and therefor have the potential to be masters of emotional manipulation. Training them is good for people who need practice with setting and maintaining boundaries.

Doesnt matter if you love the looks of a dog, you are to get the dog that suits you the best not go by the looks. Living in a cold area and getting a dog that has no long fur, bad decision. COats and clothes only help "so much", barely anything. Fur helps the dog stay warm.
So I live in Sweden where the weather changes dramatically from season to season, our summer heat can get up to 95 degrees and during winter we can have temperatures down to -4 degrees with a lot of snow!
So while I understand how you’re thinking, with this logic you could call every dog owner who lives in a place with changing seasons a bad dog owner, which I have to disagree with.
We have many different creative ways to keep all of our animals cool in the summer and warm in the winter! From animals with thick long fur to animals with no fur.
My comments come from a friendly place, I just wanted to share my thoughts and experience living in a Nordic country with such drastically different seasons! 😊
You should also take in to consideration the fact that dogs body temperature is 101° to 102° plus I'm not sure what kinds of dogs have it, there is an undercoat to help keep them warmer. I had a Chihuahua and she didn't like to go out in the snow, so I would pick her up, carry her to a cleared out spot or in some cases I would put her underneath the back deck where there was no snow. Another thing, they'll only be out there long enough to take care of business...
Don't take it so seriously. 🤦 The point of the video is to show the silliness of the dog. 🙄 Just like a child or even an adult human that may want to go into the snow, when they feel the cold they change their mind. 😏

I bred dachshunds for 7 years. I've lived with dogs my whole life. I know canine behavior better than most. That dog is being aggressive against its owner at a perceived threat. What happens when that threat is another small child that doesn't know any better than to quickly approach the dog's kid? There is a reason these dogs that were bread for war and fighting bulls, bred to bite and never let go regardless of damage to themselves, are banned in many countries including the UK and Canada. Look up the rate of attacks and fatalities of dog breeds and you'll see the pitbull is above others by an insane margin.@@joelpww
@@leannecanty8821That's what I saw. The dog didn't trust this weird little thing and was stopping it from being put near the baby. Also, that was very mild protection behavior (probably because the dog may not have trusted the toy, it trusted the owner so didn't want to snap at them).
Someone gave you access to the internet which clearly is just as irresponsible...
