the July 4th fireworks while riding sky screamer is so beautiful man.. this ride is very fun at night too because of the lights, and looking down at the parks lights with Superman’s red LED’s are amazing. This park is def on Top 15 if not higher.
Great video with my first ever view of the area around SFNE. I would love to see a video out the top 15 views from a Skyscreamer, Drop Tower, and Observation tower with a bonus of Top 5 parks that can benefit from having one of these because of its beautiful surroundings. Have a good one
My dad and I went on the New England Sky Screamer during a very windy day and our swing was almost 90 degrees straight out because of the high winds. Also my dad was very scared during the ride due to the wind speed.
As someone who loves swing rides and isn't afraid of heights but hates the sensation of free-falling, this ride has held my curiosity for a while. Does it give air time? That will be the deciding factor in whether I give it a shot if I ever go back to Six Flags.
@@CanobieCoaster Cool, thanks. It might be worth the wait if I ever find myself at Six Flags again. I would go every year with my high school choir for competitions, but I haven't been back since 2013 and the Sky Screamer wasn't there yet.
Scariest ride I’ve ever been on, being over the river with nothing that tall near the ride makes it feel even taller. I’ve been on the Texas one too which is basically the same height but this is scarier
ive ridden many times- I went 2017 or 2018 opening day and wow it was freezing and definitely a cold experience. Its a fun ride, but never rode backwards.
I first rode it in possessed mode, and once I rode the normal mode for the first time I felt like it was shorter. Didn’t know that was the case though. I’m surprised about it closing due to wind, I rode SkyScreamer at Darien Lake on a windy day and it felt like my face was getting ripped off from the wind, but Darien Lake might run it in windier temperatures because of it being half the height.
If I rode it backwards I don’t think my heart can take it. I went up there once and it was so scary! My buddy next to me was hiding under his hoodie. I was fine with the 15 seconds at the top.
Posting before watching… I’m really curious how you are going to come up with 10 minutes of content for the Sky Screamer review. It’s a swing ride. It goes up high in the air.
Nice review. The other thing that shuts the ride down is lightning. I don’t know what the distance rule is, but I’ve been there when there wasn’t a cloud in the sky but the ride was closed due to lightning “in the distance.” And to be honest, I’m cool with that.
As someone who doesn't like swing rides, I actually enjoyed the Skyscreamer at my home park of SFNE. 😁
It's one of their best rides.
@@CanobieCoasterdo a review of the Starflyer in Germany you said 490 feet tall!???!!
Im terrified of heights but my wife got me on this last summer on a trip to SFNE and got me to keep my eyes open. It was pretty incredible.
The views are amazing.
For me, the idea of simple chains keeping me from flying off males these rides scarier than X².
It's definitely unnerving.

Still haven't seen this park's fireworks after all these years.
im all smiles and laughs on any roller coaster but these tall swing rides have me screaming in terror the whole time.
It's definitely unnerving.

Possibly something I can look into.
Wow, now that is some awesome view. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It really is!

It can get a lot of movement on those windy days.
It's always cool when it unexpectedly goes backwards. It's done this outside of Fright Fest.
I've only seen it at Fright Fest.
I was never afraid of a ride ever until this one. It really wasn’t fun but I was fucking terrified
It's scary with the height and chains, but I enjoy it.
😳 It is a cool-looking swing but the height scares the los angeles out of me. 😱😵🏃🏽♀️
It's definitely freaky.

No airtime nor freefall sensations.

Have you had the opportunity to experience the “extreme flight” option at parks where it’s been offered?
I did it at Great Adventure. I prefer the regular orientation since it's easier to take in the view
The only sky screamer ive done is the one at GADV, but that one rotates really fast
That one does spin fast.

Both are equally as scary for me.

It definitely can be chilly, especially early and late in the year.

Yeah Possessed is 50% longer.

I wish it cycled longer since I love the view.
I've only done the Mondial Windseeker, though I hope one of thse can be built above 500ft
I suspect they can.
If you pump your legs on this ride the chairs are terrifyingly easy to twist
Yes they are.
I rode the one at Great Adventure during a windy day and was swearing like a sailor.
This one is even freakier.

There are multiple modes to talk about.
I rode it yesterday and I hated it. Too scary for me
And I’m NOT a little baby
I love the view.
I got no comment
Ok
1 view in 49 seconds. damn canobie coaster fell off
Stop I see so many of these on other channels it’s old and not funny
My honest reaction: 😐
Or UA-cam can't keep up.
