Being a pretty big Vox fan, I appreciate you covering this! You always write cool intro songs for the pedals you cover. I wasn't as pleased with the Marshall one they made (sounded cool but had WAY too much gain). This pedal seems like it'll be a lot more usable for me. So glad that, even if the controls are pretty simplified, they kept the all-important Tone Cut control.
Hey. Thx for the comment. Yeah I thought the Marshall one was impressive but just not for me. This is very good. Very useable. The demo songs I record are actually songs from My band Kampala. If you like them you should check us out. UA-cam.com/@kampalaband
Hey. Thx for the comment. I actually sold this recently because I got an AC30!!! Which I did primarily because of this pedal. It’s excellent at what it does. I also use p90s a lot and yeah they sound great with this.
If your accent accent matches your location amd something like this lands on your door step again, give me a shout. Can supply hyper real Brian May Red Special and Treble Booster. That would give the pedal a fair whacking!
Hey Thomas. My accent does indeed match my location. Also I think I’ve heard your name before and we may actually be closer than you think! I’m in Co. Kildare. Where are you at? Regards the Brian May thing, I’d be very grateful for the guitar and pedal but I wouldn’t k ow what to do with them!! I deeply admire queen as songwriters and as a band in general but it’s not really my thing. I’d be more into what Peter Buck or the edge did with the AC30

Hey Thomas. Just watched your Tonemaster video and your Edwards Les Paul video. Great stuff. Might be worth me giving you the NUX pedal to see if you think it does a good enough AC30 sound for your needs? We could both post it? What do you reckon?
You are very correct, the vox sound and the telecaster are a match made in heaven 👍
I once played a 65 AC30 at a gig in Uganda using the thinline tele from this video. Is was just glorious…. I blew it up though!! 😬
You are so correct, and I have been saying it for many years.....Telecasters with Vox AC30's (or AC10/15) are magical.
Agree, this close enough to the Vox vibe, i like to feel. Good pedal and good review.
Thx for the kind words.yeah it does what I need it do for sure.

Mine just landed.. sounds great with p90s especially middle setting (both pickups)

Pedal sounds great... but it's bugging me that the apostrophe is in the wrong place LOL
Thx for the comment. I never even noticed!
@@TheGuitarEffect I know, I'm a bit of nerd when it comes to that kinda thing. :)
It sounds very good, but my UA Ruby, recently purchased, is glorious.
Yeah I’ve heard great things. Out of my budget unfortunately
is it possible to use ths effect as an amp? so i just add this effect into an ir cab
Hey. It’s specifically designed to change the tone in front of a guitar amp. It’s a vox sounding distortion pedal. Not a preamp. That make sense?
@TheGuitarEffect okaayy, thank you for the advice
