@@ShelbyFarrow the seekers with judith durham do a nice job on massachusetts as well i think the bee gees were planning on giving it to the seekers originally
Robin Gibb's ethereal voice is in a league all its own!💖 Whether he sang with his brothers - or released solo albums, there's no mistaking his unique, distinguished voice!
I love the Bee gees, Robin had this special voice. Maurice did to and so did rest in peace three out of the four Brothers 4:35 Maurice and Andy excellent singers 2 also
So you finally got to hear him and experience what a great singer he was. 😊 It would be fun if you would listen to another version and to have you watch it with us.This is a song from their 60's repertoire and you should choose a version from that period. If you want to hear more of Robin singing lead, listen to "I've Gotta Get A Message To You" and "Massachusetts" 60's versions.
Robin's voice was so unique but he was so animated. His voice brought me to The BeeGees and I never left. I always enjoyed when his voice was highlighted in a song, "For Whom The Bell Tolls" . I understand that he asked that this song be played at his funeral. He was so cute. RIP Robin
I'm always so emotional watching the Bee Gees deliver their beautiful music, knowing we'll never see them again. God bless Robin, Maurice and Andy and may they all rest in peace now. 💔💔💔 and please God Barry stays with us. We'll love and enjoy their genius for ever.
I am a great Brazilian fan from Bee Gees and It's amazing to see Young people reacting their wonderful songs. You must hear "Alone", "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart"' and "Run to Me" only to start. You won't believe in how many beautiful songs they have.
To have a talent like that, to b able to stand n a venue that large and perform and b so vulnerable is magical! Of course we want u to see the other performances! It makes it more special! We love u!❤
Great reaction thank you. Please react to another Robin lead. The song is called HEART LIKE MINE, Robin’s voice has a beautiful haunting, vulnerable quality about it, it brings tears to my eyes. ❤❤❤
Your reaction is so sweet!! Robin was a very shy and laid back member of the band. His voice works perfectly with those of his more forceful brothers. RIP Robin
Thanks, my girl.. Robin wrote this when he was 18 yrs. old... this is obviously much later, but he maintained that beautiful voice... appreciate your reaction!!
I always thought this was such a sad song when it first came out when I was a teen then. It made me think of the people who have sad lives through no fault of their own. One of my 1st favorite Bee Gees songs and I just got to get a letter to you'.
What an amazing talent Robin was, all the Bee Gees, Andy, Mo and Robin RIP... God Speed Barry, ive been listening since 1968, thank you for some of the greatest music ever recorded.
Hi Ola, sorry to hear you haven't felt well, but glad you're doing better. Great selection. Such a poignant song. To me, it's about someone who does something they think will help people, but ends up having negative consequences that end up coming back to haunt him. The "what comes around, goes around" axiom at work. Robin had one of those unique voices that is instantly recognizable. Rest in peace to him and Maurice and Andy
A really beautiful song by the Bee Gess with Robin on lead os their song "Rings around the moon." Most videos for that song include footage of Robin's Funeral, which makes quite an impact. Although quite emotional to watch it strengthens the song even more. It is definitely worth checking this song out.
Early Robin solos wold also include "And the Sun Will Shine." And three cuts from the "Odessa" concept album... the title cut, "Black Diamond," and "Lamplight."
React to one of the earlier versions too, I would enjoy seeing your reaction. Also check out Massachusetts, another of Robin's songs and a big hit in 1967, reaching #1 on the UK charts.
The medley from this concert (bits of their hits and songs they wrote that were hits for others) is well worth a reaction if you can do it. It shows the talent of all the brothers and their interaction. Robin is credited as the main writer of this song. He was a loner and eccentric and for that reason often felt misunderstood. People took him the wrong way. He laughed, others cried, he cried, others laughed, out of synch with the rest of the world. How many times have we all tossed and turned in bed from saying something inappropriate? To me the song says, do we see people as they really are or as we think they are and are things we say misunderstood. A few other Robin leads are "Juliet" live in Berlin 1991 (his solo #1), Country Lanes, I can't see nobody, Bodyguard (very sexy), and Fallen Angel and When he's gone (both upbeat).
Another great song on which Robin sings lead is "Massachusetts." I would personally vote for you listening to the other renditions of this song in front of us. It's really a masterpiece, and one can't hear it too many times. That long ovation from the crowd says that in spades. 😊
These songs bring Robin in at the chorus and he blows it away. Wedding Day, For Whom The Bell Tolls, And Alone are a few of Robin’s great time to shine. I love him too. Mo and Barry are wonderful too, but I fell for Robin. His voice is amazing in a different way from everyone else’s. Rest In Peace Robin. You are truly loved and missed. ♥️🌹♥️
Robin was the best Bee Gee and sang all the best melancholy songs. Really & Sincerely, though not very well known, is the best one he did. Faith No More also did a wonderful cover of I Started A Joke too
Your reactions are priceless! Your voice, your smile, your beautiful face always bring me a smile. I was sorry you were sick, but am thankful you are improving. Thank you for another excellent reaction to a beautiful song.
Please react Bee Gees "Alone". Robin sing big parts with his wonderful voice. The song is beautiful and it was released in 96/97, after almost 40 tears of careeer. Kiss from Portugal. Ana
Yes. You should certainly check out an early performance of this song, and react to that too. Now that you've seen Robin singing it later in his career, with a more matured voice, you deserve to see a (very) young Robert singing it with his youthful voice. The original studio version sounds brilliant, but I have seen footage of them performing it on television around the time of it's release, and it's just as good! This would be one of their earlier hits from the 60's, before they became the kings of the 7o's.
I was the biggest fan of Bee Gees from the get go! I saw them in concert in 1969. I was a freshman in college and a guy that I wasn't really interested in, got tickets so I would go out with him...and then we dated for about a year!
Congratulations. You finally got to hear his amazing beautiful voice. He had an amazing solo career as well. If you want to hear him, check out the album Walls Have Eyes. Every song is fantastic. For his Beegees song leads, check out, country lanes, when he's gone, and don't fall in love with me. Those are just a select few. I think your reaction was adorable and oh so correct
Robin had a voice of an angel indeed. It's a worn-out phrase but it is very true here. Check out his solo "Don't Cry Alone". That was one of his last songs.
There are so many great songs from them over the decades, way to many to list. Alone, Bodyguard, Nights on Broadway, Jive Talking, Massachusetts, Words, To Love Somebody, How Deep is your Love, Gotta Get a Message to You, New York Mining Disaster, One, Rings Around the Moon, Fanny Be Tender oh there are so many.
I loved your reaction to Robin on his most iconic song! He is exceptional and my favorite BeeGee! I loved your adoration of him. ❤
Robin had the voice of an angel the BeeGees had many hit songs I have two cd's in the car and every song is great
Robin also sings "Massachusetts", which is probably my favorite Bee Gees song.
Mine too.
Me too.

Robin Gibb. I have always loved this song since I first heard it all those years ago. R.I.P Robin
One of the most talented, truly gifted vocalist/musicians there ever was. He was amazing.
Robin had by far the best voice of the Bee Gees. RIP Robin.
I agree! Barry has the great falsetto, but Robin's got a something else. I can listen to this song all day long!
Robin, simply the best!
He was a super talent I have two BeeGees cd's in my car I recommend them
I love the Bee gees, Robin had this special voice. Maurice did to and so did rest in peace three out of the four Brothers 4:35 Maurice and Andy excellent singers 2 also
I fell in love with Robin and his brothers the 1st time i heard this song more than 50 years ago.

The brothers all had great voices. But Robin was definitely special, and this song is amazing.
My favorite Gibb brother too. His voice was so vulnerable and beautiful. RIP Robin.
Robin's voice is really amazing. Please show other songs of theirs
Robin's voice was so unique but he was so animated. His voice brought me to The BeeGees and I never left. I always enjoyed when his voice was highlighted in a song, "For Whom The Bell Tolls" .

His most lovely recording second to this is 'Rings around the Moon.'
Robin was incredible. His live performances were never anything but the best he could do!!

Robin sings the lead on "I Can't See Nobody " Live in Melbourne 1974. It is epic. Very few reactors have found this gem.

I love Robin ❤
The most amazing vibrato ever.
RIP, what a voice I heard he requested this be played at his funeral. Love your reactions
Lovely Ola,nice reaction again...Check out Robin's "Juliet"...
React to the song called “Ive gotta get a message to you” by the bee gees 1968 :)
Robin was their lead singer for almost all of their 60s early 70s songs.
So wonderful.. how moving.. He's incredible.

I think the best version is in Berlin 1981.

I am happy that you fell in love as happened to me. One of the most beautiful voices ever. Thank you to react Robin!

Next song..."words" live,...by Barry in this same concert 1989
Yes please!
In my opinion, Robin had the best voice. You should check out one of their oldest songs called "Lonely Days" and a song called "You win again 1987"
Checkout Robins vocals in the song ( For Whom The Bell Tolls) the video version where the Bee Gees are singing in New York beside the river, !
