Don’t do any updates on old phones, they eventually will disable your phone so that you buy a new one. My mic and phone calls stopped working after this update

@@user-gl2bt1on5p - dude look at there stock, you don't think they are doing shit like this? You know what fail safes are? Software releases to disable the hardware on your phone. The old ones break and since your so used to the UI/UX of iphone you don't switch over and end up buying another phone from them. They make you update your phone to use the apps, they have you on lock to purchase a phone from them every few years.
Hope it doesn’t drain battery faster and also doesn’t make the phone slow
thats why im not updating ,they make your phone slower to make you get a newer phone (if it only says bug fixes)
I did just update my iPhone 7 256gb to this iOS 15.8.2 everything is smooth as it could be. Thanks Apple for keep giving older device an bug fix software update.

@@apReaL17yes but not often. And I always update all of my apps in the App Store and whenever there’s a bug fix or security update I do that too. So majority of the time, my iPhone 7 (256 GB) is doing ok up till today.

What the hell is up with this ios? It's corrupted, I've reinstalled it so many times and it keeps telling me null and when I try installing it with my mac it tells me the firmware is corrupted and my iphone 7 is stuck on ios 12 it's driving me crazy
nope me personally am not doing these updates becouse there just making your phone more obsolete to make them slower to eventually make you get a new phone ,unless its some good noticeable update besides any so called bug fixes ,not doing it

They do that to get rid of older devices and make you buy new ones. My mic stopped working after this update and even head phones can’t make calls or FaceTime

the battery is draining fast because the battery is old. Replacing it will help

@@matthias6933I got it replaced with a fresh battery just yesterday, still drains the same. I woke up today to my iPhone 7 very warm and the battery at 50% when I slept unplugged it was at 100%

Coming from iOS 15.8.1 with a draining battery just yesterday I installed iOS 15.8.2 (19H384) through iTunes so that it does the full update and it still drains the same way before 🥹

They are trying to get you to buy a new phone, these updates overtime will disable your phone. My phone calls for mic won’t even work anymore and even on headphones mic

I swear after downloading this update I all the time get server errors. I can’t sign in Sony severs. I message doesn’t recognise my sim. It says another sim is used on this number. It has to do something with safari security upgrades. Maybe one toggle or advanced setting is in this new update automatically standard on. It drives me crazy because I first thought I got banned etc. I just want to know if some other iPhone 7 users experience server errors with 2FA(especially) after this update.

I have issue on previous version and I tried to update ios and still dot not fix anything

@@yurikoyahiko9817 I have the same problem as well. I cannot call anyone and record voice messages in whatsapp after the update. Normal carrier call does not work either. I am using handsfree to call on normal carrier but the handsfree trick does not work on whatsapp. it has been a week now.
