I love this channel after a long days work. I’m exhausted and then Rin says “well I bought a whole gallon of acid so let’s put this rusty stuff in it just for fun” and I’m 100% here for it
You could also dilute it in water so that the acid reacts with the parts as it flows around due to convection. Same principle but you dont have to buy more wallpaper glue
Lovely restoration! Looks like you're getting into heavy rubber, haha. Speaking of muriatic acid, I sometimes mixed some with hydrogen peroxide and used that for etching PCBs. It could be re-used too, all it took was adding some H2O2.
YO, this Hydochlooric Acid can burn your skin up very badly yes wear gloves and other things like that is no joke, please do your job safely and education too.-DLH
The muriatic acid did a really good job on those tools. Another method you might try if you haven't already is electrolysis. I've seen it do miracles on rusty stuff pulled out of rivers and such, so it might work for that plough if you find a big enough container.
I love how fast acid is. It's generally my go-to unless I have days or weeks on my hands to wait.

Well thank you
I have only tried vinegar which works fantastic. Cool to see these acids at work. Thankyou.
83 was a good year. The A Team was first seen on TV screens and I was born hmm not such a good year then.
My best friend Thais who is in my videos often, and edits my videos, was born in 83 too!
It's a lot more exciting with aluminum 😂
yeah Im glad I looked up various metals before putting them in lol
To save on acid I have mixed it with wallpaper glue and painted it on to the parts.

"I bought a whole gallon." As one does of course.
Only size I saw tbh

Youve probably watched one of my old videos on electrolysis even, I did so many of those videos I got a little sick of it
@@RinoaL Ah, I figured you've done it before. I guess I just forgot. LOL!
I had to use self-etching primer on a part that went on a satellite, that primer was so toxic.
3rd
The tape got more sticky over a year.
Wd40 it’s actually hydroscopic and will just absorb water
Whatever it does, it does keep water off the metal and keep it from rusting. Thats what it was designed to do
what in the world are you collecting random trashed piston heads for you don't restore engines there's literally no point it's just hoarding
I guess you didnt pay attention. Its going in out display cabinet
Thank you!!!
The linseed oil, boiled or raw?
Boiled is ok, and I happen to only have that on hand. Raw only really works if you can toast it in an oven or let it sit for months in the sun
