As a software engineer of 30+ years and a subscriber, my advice is to stop saying your still just learning. You are always learning. If you're not, you're doing it wrong. There are no "masters" in this field, just more advanced students. You always have the opportunity to learn from both the advanced and beginners. You're spot on about being able to teach what you've learned to others. It reinforces what you know and uncovers what you don't. Thanks for the background video. I enjoy your channel! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the kind comment. Helpful feedback. And I agree. The day I stop learning, I'm gonna go do something else because I'd definitely be doing it wrong.

Hey Chris thanks for being here! I'm an old school programmer in my 50's. Havent done any dev work for years but am now learning front-end HTML, CSS & JS for fun & it's been amazing re-engaging with coding. Your videos are very helpful. Only a a few days agao I was having problems with a button click. The button had a few things in it such as an icon, text etc. When the button click had the pointer over the icon it wasn't catching the click. It was driving me mad! I watched your video explaining e.target VS e.currentTarget (ua-cam.com/video/F2pbD_Mr91Y/v-deo.html). I was able to fix the problem by using e.currentTarget for my use-case on the event handler but also now know about setting pointer-events to none on the button icon if I used e.target. Keep up the good work we're all extremely greatful & I love the ethos of your channel! 👍

i came across your channel while doing some front end mentor challenges and your way of teaching is clear and well structured and this helped me a lot.
this was like 2 years ago when i was in high school now i am doing my bachelor in computer science and learning cybersecurity on side
i don't think i will do web dev again or try to practice it but i want to thank you for the quality videos and i hope you continue doing it

You started 2020, woah thats really great progress in such short time. I followed your astro tutorials and they were great as I was lazy with css 😅 and had very short time to go through astro and probably would have taken me longer doing the same tutorial in the docs.( will go through them eventually). Keep learning and growing

Thanks Chris for teaching me Chris. Through your Astro Blog guide I was able to make a blog and now it has more than 10k views in past 6 months or so. I learnt Astro from scratch from your youtube videos. Can't thank you enough.

Thanks for sharing your learning process, I've been really enjoying your content, especially the Astro videos. While as a designer, I'm also learning how to do front-end, Let me know if you need help with design or Tailwind CSS.
