Golden State is a superb album. I think it was the last album that sounded like Bush. I've been a long time Bush fan and honestly lost interest with the last 3 current albums. You really can't replicate Nigels sound, but I'm still glad they managed to move on. Seen them live and they put on a great live show and I've sang along to every song and caught a setlist. I would like to see more videos like this of other songs.
Nigel deprived the world of his talent. So sad. I have never found any sound like his. Nigel's live performances confirm he was a genius, an artist. So sad also that there are no good quality videos from that era...
These guys sound just as good now and are just as tight of a band as they were twenty five years ago, maybe even better. There are very few bands out there that strive for perfection like bush does, what you hear on a recorded album is exactly what you will get in a live performance. I love every single song they have ever recorded, the sound is fat and gets my adrenaline going still after all these years. I love the way Gavin uses words in an almost abstract way sometimes to express all kinds of life events. Just the best band I have ever heard on a record or seen live. Too awesome........................

Chris Traynor adds a lot of sounds in his playing to Bush songs to kind of spice them up... Nigel was a straight noisemaker but Chris Traynor plays clear and adds a lot of extra notes here and there to original Bush songs
