Great work man! Barricades has always been one of my favorite tracks of AoT, idk why but it's just special to me. The mood of the song is so good.

Ngl Sawano is the goat but he milked the sh1t out of his ost. There are seperate osts which sounds kinda the same with nearly the same arrangements but regardless they still sound great.
Yeah I've noticed that with a lot of anime composers work too. I guess that's the risk of doing so many shows that the ideas get reused in slightly different ways.

@Yu yea but his is way too the same thing. Yuki hayashi on the other hand have his own thing with osts but they sound different.
personally, i don't have a big issue with it. AOT certainly has a good range of melody, and i personally found that the songs are just too iconic for the series. it's like the Transformers introduction theme of the 80s. it's iconic to the franchise, and it's why in every new adaptation with the exception of the live action, there's some deviation in the theme, but it all follows that similar melody.
maybe it's lazy, maybe it's just to save time, but nonetheless it's iconic af.
