My experience tells that this is not necessary. Spotify automatically brings the intergrated loudness back to around -14dB. So quieter songs will become louder, and louder songs will become quieter, simply so that the listeners hear every song at relatively the same loudness. I think some premium plans even allow you to play audio louder at like -10 LUFS, but I'm not 100% sure. As long as you make sure your true peak is -1dB or lower, you should be fine. This gives your track a bit of headroom for the processing and file compression. Just make sure your track does sounds good when it's played around that -14dB LUFS and you're good. Hope this helps!
