Ooooh man, I am so glad you reacted to Tombstone Arizona, it’s easily one of my favorite tracks in the game, alongside Thousand March (War). This was such a joy to watch, loving the Pizza Tower OST reactions. Loving the vibes from your channel, hope to see more from you !
What I love about Thousand March, it’s obviously inspired by warfare, but to the degree that it captures all those mixed emotions is phenomenal. It’s like a video explained only by audio. That intense feeling the main “riff” or whatever gives, you can imagine an overview of intense combat while bombs and artillery is raining from above. Once the violin kicks in you can see the people on the ground struggling to hold their ground. When it eventually gets to the violin solo, it’s an epic melody of victory, but just as much sadness and tragedy, and the pain goes all the way to eleven when the synth solo kicks in and eventually flatlines. The song then marches on like before, the war goes on. Don’t get me wrong, war is a horrible thing. This theme in my opinion captures all the aspects and emotions of it perfectly, the intensity in the main theme, the pain in the violin and tragedy in the solos. I love this theme, almost made me cry first time I heard it.
Everybody: War is such a good level! And Thousand March is such a good song! Me: What song? I only hear *assorted Pizza Tower sound effects played at god awfully high volume* and *my own internal rage from the stupid shotgun slowing me down*. I think war is the only one of two levels in the game that doesn't play Pizza Time or The Death That I Deserviolli, which after actually finding out that there is a Lap 2, means you can appreciate the song since there are pretty much no more enemies and *your internal rage because the level was designed with the shotgun in mind so you still keep losing momentum*.
Thousand March is sooooo good, I fucking love it so much. With the beeps of the bomb in the level, it just adds to it even more, even though it's off sync.
I'm personally really impressed at the Spaghetti songs knowing how MIDI music has to be written. MIDI sequencers get extra fiddly when you try to make something sound improvisational. Also, Thousand March tells you just how much Mr. Sauceman loves house music.
The composer is likely composing everything in a modern DAW. So he's probably working with a piano roll of some sort, unless he's using something exotic like Renoise (and if he is, he is indeed a wizard: Trackers are hard to use). He might also be playing some of these parts out by hand on a keyboard, maybe even recording the guitar stuff in the graveyard stage... Though that does sound like sampled guitar, so it's possible he's just got really good samples and is taking the time and effort to use them to full effect. The composer has incredibly wide range, so it's hard to second guess exactly what he's doing in places. He absolutely knows what he's doing, that's for sure. Some of the sounds he's mixing together I know from experience fight with each other, and are very hard to get to play nice.
A small detail that I noticed, but really love: if you listen closely to the short acapella-style intro bits that play on the level title cards, you might recognize one of the main motifs of the level’s music. Yes, every single title card jingle is based on the music of the level it is for.
can we appreciate how much this man is swagged up? he got that guitar pendant, leather(?) jacket, and that deep, syrupy red hair. he's got the violin skills to back it up as well 💯🔥
Pizza Tower is one of those rare games in which the majority of the soundtrack is just hit after hit. Normally, any given game may have a small selection of standout tracks that everyone generally agrees are the best of the collection; there may be some debate as to which is the absolute _best,_ but the general quality amongst them is colloquially agreed upon. Pizza Tower by comparison is a game that traverses so many different styles and genres, yet consistently nails each one, leading rather surprisingly to a situation in which the fans will spend time debating how they stack up against each-other due to personal taste; "It's all good, but which one's your _favourite?"_ is the discussion that arises. It's somehow _more_ divisive, yet also leads to _greater_ fandom cohesion, due to the opportunity it provides to discuss your tastes and preferences in earnest without fear of judgment or ridicule - because it's all good, we all know it and we all like it, so it's just about sharing in the positive vibes of the whole experience. Man, Pizza Tower is just great. What a great game.
@Random Donut Productions I think it was for a VVVVVV song cover, though I'm not sure, it might've been for an original song. It's been around 5 years, I gotta check the og post
absolutely seconding PIZZA TIME NEVER ENDS! its my absolute favorite song in the whole soundtrack because it does SO many incredibly intelligent things in its design, if it doesnt end up getting covered i will be sorely disappointed haha
Always love seeing how happy you get when listening to these. I still highly recommend you give "Bye Bye there!" and "Yeehaw Deliveryboy" a listen to next.
Those are my two favorite tracks, "Yeehaw Deliveryboy" is really underrated, I love the unique take on saloon style music and the Jet Set Radio references, and "Bye Bye, There!" is such a perfect theme for the climax, it keeps escalating to the point were there are like 3 spots the song could finish on and it would still be a banger, it's so over the top in such a good way.
i love how tombstone arizona sounds like you're rethinking your life but cold spaghetti's like going to the kitchen at 3 am, not fearing the dark anymore
Something that I love about thousand of March is that when you listen real close you realize that the consistent beat is being provided not just by the bass drum, but also by the sound of marching boots. And that the marching at the end has been playing for the majority of the song
Thousand March seems to take a lot of inspiration from Carpenter Brut music, which has been in a few game OST's like Hotline Miami and Furi. Would highly reccomend you listen to a few songs from the Furi OST particularly, like You're Mine(Carpenter Brut), What We Fight For(Carpenter Brut), Make This Right(Toxic Avenger), and Wisdom of Rage(Waveshaper)
Extraterrestrial Wahwahs probably one of my favorite tracks. Wish you hadn't covered Unexpectanty already because i love the motifs from different tracks in that final phase
Lol the name of the song is a reference to a Joe Walsh song called "Life's Been Good". Find the eight minute version, at the end they begin to make squaking noises making fun of the "wahwah" pedal. Joe says, "Uh oh, here comes a Flock of Wahwahs!"
One thing I just noticed is that Thousand March has this reoccurring distant explosion sound throughout the entire track (not sure whether it is an actual sample of an explosion or instrument replicating the sound), which is very telling with the level’s context - you’re in a war zone and you’re racing against the clock to find each detonator or you’re completely done for. This is the only level that gives little room for error (honestly the one level you’ll get the most game-overs). Also suggests that there’s explosions constantly going off in the distance as more and more of your fellow soldiers have potentially perished with each explosion you hear.
you can really FEEL the soundtrack, huh? 11:38 ost so good it got like 5 different videos. thanks for checking out the soundtrack to one of my favorite games SPG, always love hearing your freestyle segments!
Not sure if you know this or not, the track is called Thousand March, and its played in the level War. The theme not so much conveys heavy Daft Punk vibes. I'm not dissing them, they're really damn great. xD But the theme is supposed to convey being in a war zone. The marching feet that you can hear prominently at the end of the track is mostly played throughout the track. Like marching soldiers. And the gimmick of the level is that you have to go through it, shooting your shotgun at enemies trying to stop you. And you have to get through the level, and get out within a time limit.
If anything i feel more carpenter brut inspiration, especially on the drum fills. this track has very heavy “le perv” vibes, namely the outro. god this song is good
@@LionmightOfficial Thousand March takes cues from a number of different French House artists! Most notably, the bassline is lifted more or less directly from the song Waters of Nazareth, by Justice. I'd be surprised if you haven't heard it before - it's an incredibly popular song to use in mashups.
@@stock_img i hear it was "slightly inspired" by siivagunner's hotline miami rips, which mostly means the le perv ones for people who somehow don't know, those have a wacky tendency to pound your vital organs into unusable mush
2:26 Tombstone Arizona gives me the feeling like that moment in Ratatouille when Remy is taking the two foods and combining them... 2:54 And then the flavor swirl starts and it's just....aahhhhh.....
As someone who backed the game through 2019 I do have some background info regarding your statements at 6:16 if I'm not mistaken those guitars are real, it's Mr.Sauceman himself. As a backer of one of the higher tiers one of the perks was access to a music development channel for the game and if you couldn't guess by my name...I watched that thing like a hawk.
Your videos are the best thing to watch while eating dinner; it provides both a nice musical background with a great guy analysing it, how can you not love this? Looking forward to your next videos!
I like how Cold Spaghetti is actually sound somehow “hot” like so energitic that it make me sweat, and the opposite to Hot Spaghetti which somehow sound “cold”
Pizza Tower's soundtrack is a damn miracle. Every stage theme fits the feel of the levels you go through, and each one's super catchy to boot. If you haven't already, I'd definitely recommend actually playing the game to hear each song in its context. For instance, "Hot Spaghetti" and "Cold Spaghetti" play in the same level, just in different areas of the stage as you progress through it, and the transition between the two is (as far as I can tell) pretty seamless.
If you wanna do a single, kinda gimmicky reaction video dedicated to one type of song, i reccommend the Secret Hoppin' songs. I really like them because they all follow certain patterns: • they all use the same
I think there is a video out there that has all of the Secret Hoppin' songs in order, alongside the intro and outro part of the whole song collection! I think it's called "Secret Hoppin' (Level Mix)"
I’d recommend the other Spaghetti tracks! “Spaghetti,” a song used in older demo builds, cut from the final so Hot Spaghetti could play for more than 2 rooms, and “There’s a Bone in my Spaghetti,” the Theme of Pizzascare, a faster and harder version of Pizzascape.
there's a bone in my spaghetti seems to be on the other end of the "castlevania vibe" where tombstone arizona is slower and more careful with what it does, there's a bone in my spaghetti just goes as fast as it wants, adds as many instruments as it wants and tells you to keep up
I just realized - this guy NEEDS to check out the Astral Chain soundtrack. They really didn’t have to go and make an OST better than most animated shows can claim, but Savior (the main theme) is still bouncing around in my head, despite not listening to it for weeks.
hearing your genuine love for music in everything you say about the songs is just so great ! unless you're tired of this series, I would definitely suggest checking some tracks like Pizza Time Never Ends, just to see your thoughts on that weird song lmao
Was not expecting Tombstone Arizona to be one of the first songs you covered but I'm so glad you did. It and Hot/Cold Spaghetti are much more (relatively) contemporary songs compared to It's Pizza Time! They focus a lot more on building up their area, letting the mood shine before the final mad dash begins. The amount of atmosphere this game can give with just some fluid MS Paint animation and awesome music is amazing. Also absolutely loved you jamming on your wawa violin to Cold Spaghetti, that was perfect. And then... then there's Thousand March. War is in a league of its own, I'm not even sure how to explain it. It's like if the original Doom Music was made in the modern day, but at the same time that violin part with that repeating pattern combines with it to elicit a feeling I can't describe. It really tries to portray the scale of the action going on, and for the final level of the game it's perfect for testifying the stakes.
Now that you've heard and enjoyed both Hot Spaghetti and Cold Spaghetti, I HIGHLY recommend checking out the dark reprise of the Spaghetti leitmotif, There's A Bone In My Spaghetti!
Tombstone Arizona is definitely one of my favorite tracks.. The way it starts and then it picks up with the guitar is amazingly done even if I don't know much about music theory. Your videos geniually entertain people and your covers are just great man, keep up the great stuff!!
If you’re looking for more weird and experimental, I’d recommend the Splatoon series. It has multiple in game bands each with their own styling and genres. Here’s a few of my favorites. Chirpy Chips: They’re sort of a rock-chiptune fusion. They’ve been around since the first game and are fairly easy to understand and vibe to. My favorite song of theirs is either Blitz It or Shellfie. Squid sisters: Very much a pop band, as well as the only band to have fully appeared in all 3 games. Calamari Inkantation is basically splatoon’s main theme C-side: One of the newest bands and definitely hard rock, bordering on metal in some of their songs. Clickbait is an absolute banger Ink theory: Very jazz, but with some more weird additions. One of the main members of it plays the kazoo and it somehow manages to sound good. I’d recommend Riptide Rupture Bottom feeders: Celtic folk metal. My recommendation is Seafoam Shanty, as it is just a banger. Turquoise October: Definitely on the weirder experimental side, but they still are a good listen. I think the closest genre to them is breakcore? Either way Tentacular Circus is the most indicitive of their usual music Dedf1sh: I don’t even know what genre you’d call here music, but her music is simultaneously calm and unnerving. Using a lot of loops, samples, and the like. Personal recommendation is #11 Above or #8 Regret Omega-3: Easily the weirdest, using odd time signatures and time signature changes frequently. Employing a Cello, Timpani, and DJ, I think you could call them neo-classical mathcore? Maybe? I’d say Deluge Dirge or Frothy Waters are the only way to explain them I do understand if you choose not to cover them, as Nintendo doesn’t play nice with copyright, and they’re weird as hell, but if you ever have some free time I’d say the songs and bands I listed are a good starting point. Enjoy! Or don’t, I can’t tell you what to do.
Tombstone Arizona Reminds me of The Interactive Music from "The Wedding" in LittleBIGPlanet, a game notable for having music that's split up into sections, Melody, Bass, Percussion, etc. Allowing each song to sound completely different depending on what parts are active and not active.
I like that you're starting to hear the songs referenced in unexpectancy 3, you might as well listen to that song once you've heard them all... I think it's four levels and the 2nd lap theme? okay looked it up. It features leitmotifs from "The Death That I Deservioli", "Cold Spaghetti", "Oregano Mirage" , "don't preheat your oven because if you do the song won't play" and "Tombstone Arizona".
This game's soundtract is like a ever unfolding gift box. You'd think you're done hearing whats all there to hear and bam there's more. Its crazy that the whole OST is that darn good.
Man I love the different reactions on thousand march because it seems like everyone sees different similarities and such like when I first heard it I immediately connected it with waters of Nazareth by justice
"Tombstone Arizona" takes place on a level called the "Wasteyard", so it makes sense that it'd give off a "Castlevania Vibe"; definitely a good spooky tune for Halloween. Personally, I think "There's a Bone in my Spaghetti" is even more Castlevania-themed, hopefully you'll check that out sometime. Speaking of Spaghetti, though, one thing in common with "There's a Bone in my Spaghetti", "Cold Spaghetti" and "Hot Spaghetti" is that they're all variants of a song that didn't make it into the final game simply called "Spaghetti". I actually would like to see you react to that sometime, there's actually a lot of older or cut songs for Pizza Tower that are pretty good and worth listening to. Fun Fact, there are many Pizza Tower fans who consider Spaghetti to be the theme of the main character "Peppino". Cold Spaghetti in particular is probably one of the most "Wario Land"-sounding tracks in the game, by the way. "Thousand March" was a song I didn't give much though when I initially heard it, probably because the level it plays on, "War", is so frantic that I didn't pay close attention to it. Since then, though, it's become one of my favorite tunes from Pizza Tower, it's just so intense, and it's even got some dramatic and emotional moments mixed into it. It feels very climatic, which is fitting for both the level and where the level is place din the game. Some other tracks to check out: There's a Bone in my Spaghetti (as mentioned before), Oregano Mirage, Tubular Trash Zone, and Good Eatin'. Looking forward to more reaction videos from you!
Just wanted to add as I didn't see it in the top comments: Thousand March's Metronom or pace keeper is literally a march. You can hear the soldier boots hit the ground in the background. This is an incredible soundtrack, and I love your content!
Mr. Sauceman has openly announced himself as a Homestuck fan, a series whose Music Team was headed by Toby Fox himself. Two particular tracks in the Pizza Tower soundtrack wear that influence pretty brazenly. First, Thousand March, which sounds a LOT like Beatup from Homestuck Volume 10, the final album released after Homestuck ended. Beatup being a remix of one of the oldest characters themes in the whole series, Beatdown. Second is Tombstone Arizona, which has several elements that sound very similar to Black Rose/Green Sun.
For the first track you mentioned castlevania. I was so happy to hear someone else complain the sound of it to that! I rarely hear composers or reactors so much as mention castlevania
So something about Cold Spaghetti is that one of the synths intentionally sounds like it was taken straight out of Wario Land 4. Not to mention how older versions of the song(I think it was Cold Spaghetti, might have been the song for the level Ancient Cheese) straight up sampled Wario's voice from that game.
If u ever do more of these I suggest Tropical Crust, idk music terms so I’d describe it as the kinda thing you’d hear if u were to go to a party at the beach at night and the DJ would be jamming out to this
now all we need is oregano dessert, fast food saloon, all the boss themes, ancient cheese, and crumbling tower of pizza and most of the bangers will be done
I also wanted to add: I'm a moderately experienced 8-bit music composer. Whenever you're hearing those square waves. Obviously that's to give the game that nostalgic feel (everyone who is a gamer has heard that sound somewhere before). The composer seems to be using a technique with the waves that reminds me of c64 low pass filter bass instruments lol
Some levels have multiple tracks, that change when you go deeper into a level. Hot Spaghetti and Cold Spaghetti is one of those. Hot Spaghetti goes first, but tracks do not start from the beginning when transitioning. They're muted until you get to level's certain part, then first track gets muted and second track continues.
Pizza Tower has the kind of music where I can literally just put on the whole ost without worrying about skipping or getting bored. My recommendations for the next installment are Calzonification, Pumpin' Hot Stuff, and Pizza Time Never Ends (these are actually the remaining boss themes in the order you fight them)
Thousand March is SO epic because you're literally blazing through the entire level using a shotgun and is the only level in the entire game (alongside the very final level) that doesn't have the traditional end level timer as you're timed throughout the entire level. It makes it even more epic and my third personal favorite track in the game!
At this point I won't have my fix until you cover the whole dang sound track because it is just that good in my opinion. Stuff like "It's Pizza Time", "The Death That I Deservioli", "Tubular Trash Zone", "There's a Bone in my Spaghetti", "Bite the Crust", etc is some of the best game OST I've ever heard and I can't get enough of it.
I definitely still think you should check out the tracks for Oregano Desert (Oregano Mirage) and Crust Cove (Tropical Crust). They're both super funky and Tropical Crust has some great sampling
Fun facts about each song: Hot & Cold Spagetti: these are two sides of the same song, one is for the first part of the level, and the other is the other half (except you heard them in the opposite order) Tombstone, AZ: Ironic name or not this is for the level "Wasteyard" THOUSAND MARCH: for the WAR level in (cannot provide the world number) and this song always plays even in Lap 2 due to (Data Expunged)
Thousand March is also one of my favorites in the soundtrack, glad to see you liked it so much! While Daft Punk is certainly an influence, I associate that song with the sound of Justice! They’ve been compared to DP by many others, but their earlier works have a more electric, heavy metal feel like that of Thousand March. While not video game music, reacting to their music (especially the album Cross) would be awesome to see!
you are so talented and insightful, and i am always happy to hear your insight and music, for pizza tower songs or whatever else. keep up the good work!
I'm a bit late to the party, but the fun thing about Pizza Tower is that if you know the game's development cycle, you can hear the roots of the original ideas that birthed this game in tracks like Unearthly Blues (John Gutter Hall) and Hot/Cold Spaghetti (Pizzascape), where the Warioland 4 soundfont is the most evident in Cold Spaghetti, and even the blues/jazz/lounge chord progression like what you hear in the first stages of Warioland 4. While Pizza Tower owes its existence to the Warioland GBA series, the Genesis days of Sonic the Hedgehog, and 90's-era cartoons like Courage the Cowardly Dog and Rocko's Modern Life, I would argue that it's greater than the sum of its parts, as it wanders away from those original inspirations to blossom into a beast all its own and bust the genres it was inspired by.
Your videos are really cool made! Your remake songs are also cool. Would be nice to see your reaction on these two songs from Pizza Tower: "Dungeon Freakshow", "Put On A Show!!" I hope you will keep making content!
Trivia: Tombstone Arizona is a city in Southeastern Arizona, Texas. The last boomtown since the Wild West. Maybe the OST by Mr. Sauceman is a reminiscence of that ghost town. Now here's something SPG overlooked: "Spaghetti" (Pizzascape - Unused) "There's A Bone In My Spaghetti!" (Pizza Scare) Alright. You reviewed 3 of the Unexpectancy 3 leitmotifs: The Death That I Deservioli - Lap 2 Tombstone Arizona - Wasteyard Cold Spaghetti - Pizzascape B 2 leitmotifs left: Don't Preheat Your Oven Because If You Do The Song Won't Play/The Wonders of Ice - Refrigerator-Refrigerador-Freezerator Level Oregano Mirage - Oregano Desert Hear these first as this is how they produced final boss music.
Just a little list of a few songs that I would like to see in the series: There's A Bone In My Spaghetti! Tropical Crust Pizza Time Never Ends Tubular Trash Zone Bye Bye There! These are some of my personal favourites and I would just love to see being analysed
Tombstone Arizona is hands down my favorite This music just makes me think about a fiery rebellion Or an apocalypse, not a zombie apocalypse Just the apocalypse
Another awesome music analysis and I'm so glad ya did Tombstone Arizona. It's such an awesome track that holds its own unique place amongst the tanks and easily my favorite for that juicy organ. Also I very much want to compliment you on your style for analysis. You do the breakdowns of some of the chord progressions and such, but I also really love the comparisons you make as well like when mentioned Frederic Chopin for Thousand March. Not only that but also how you show off the potential inspirations of the eras the music is reflecting like the 80s and 90s music eras. It really helps build an even greater appreciation I have for these tracks and also stuff like Omori. Keep up with these fantastic vids man, you are your own master at this craft of content I feel.

Always love seeing how happy you get when listening to these. I still highly recommend you give "Bye Bye there!" and "Yeehaw Deliveryboy" a listen to next.
Personally I can't wait for Pumpin' Hot Stuff.
I'm looking forward to Good Eatin'. I think he'll get a kick that they sampled a microwave for that one.
That’s why you’re at the kitchen, for that nighttime cold spaghetti
Something that I love about thousand of March is that when you listen real close you realize that the consistent beat is being provided not just by the bass drum, but also by the sound of marching boots. And that the marching at the end has been playing for the majority of the song
Seeing the shock on your face when each track switches it up fills my heart with so much joy I cant even formulate it into words
It's fun to watch you enjoy music because I can really tell that the sound transports you to a different space.

Lol the name of the song is a reference to a Joe Walsh song called "Life's Been Good". Find the eight minute version, at the end they begin to make squaking noises making fun of the "wahwah" pedal. Joe says, "Uh oh, here comes a Flock of Wahwahs!"
@@amalgamfrostpink5030 i thought it was because the bubbles you go in during the levels make the sound “wah wah wah” when you go in them
@@SkisnwOnTop I may have over thought the title lol
One thing I just noticed is that Thousand March has this reoccurring distant explosion sound throughout the entire track (not sure whether it is an actual sample of an explosion or instrument replicating the sound), which is very telling with the level’s context - you’re in a war zone and you’re racing against the clock to find each detonator or you’re completely done for. This is the only level that gives little room for error (honestly the one level you’ll get the most game-overs). Also suggests that there’s explosions constantly going off in the distance as more and more of your fellow soldiers have potentially perished with each explosion you hear.
it's marching
Its called thousand march
you can really FEEL the soundtrack, huh? 11:38
ost so good it got like 5 different videos. thanks for checking out the soundtrack to one of my favorite games SPG, always love hearing your freestyle segments!
Tombstone Arizona is just one of those songs you play when you don't an overly energetic song and just want to chill
And then the organ solo at the end hits
Not sure if you know this or not, the track is called Thousand March, and its played in the level War. The theme not so much conveys heavy Daft Punk vibes. I'm not dissing them, they're really damn great. xD But the theme is supposed to convey being in a war zone. The marching feet that you can hear prominently at the end of the track is mostly played throughout the track. Like marching soldiers. And the gimmick of the level is that you have to go through it, shooting your shotgun at enemies trying to stop you. And you have to get through the level, and get out within a time limit.
That's the great thing about music, everyone has different interpretations based on their personal experiences.
I thought I'm the only who think that
I think of it like hot spaghetti is outside the castle, like youre on your way, while cold is when youre inside within the pizzascape walls
@@faland0069 true, that’s what i meant
I really like them because they all follow certain patterns:
• they all use the same
I think there is a video out there that has all of the Secret Hoppin' songs in order, alongside the intro and outro part of the whole song collection! I think it's called "Secret Hoppin' (Level Mix)"
still can't get over casaully renaming a theme over a meme
i feel like he would need to listen to the originals first to see how each motif works in each track
strike a taunt
I’d recommend the other Spaghetti tracks! “Spaghetti,” a song used in older demo builds, cut from the final so Hot Spaghetti could play for more than 2 rooms, and “There’s a Bone in my Spaghetti,” the Theme of Pizzascare, a faster and harder version of Pizzascape.
there's a bone in my spaghetti seems to be on the other end of the "castlevania vibe"

It really tries to portray the scale of the action going on, and for the final level of the game it's perfect for testifying the stakes.
i would KILL for a full version of thousand march with the electric violin improv layered over it, genuinely beautiful stuff

9:41 Yes, finally! The one track in Pizza Tower that earned its place the most in my "This Track Fucks" playlist
Calamari Inkantation is basically splatoon’s main theme
C-side: One of the newest bands and definitely hard rock, bordering on metal in some of their songs. Clickbait is an absolute banger
Ink theory: Very jazz, but with some more weird additions. One of the main members of it plays the kazoo and it somehow manages to sound good. I’d recommend Riptide Rupture
Bottom feeders: Celtic folk metal. My recommendation is Seafoam Shanty, as it is just a banger.
Turquoise October: Definitely on the weirder experimental side, but they still are a good listen. I think the closest genre to them is breakcore? Either way Tentacular Circus is the most indicitive of their usual music
Dedf1sh: I don’t even know what genre you’d call here music, but her music is simultaneously calm and unnerving. Using a lot of loops, samples, and the like. Personal recommendation is #11 Above or #8 Regret
Omega-3: Easily the weirdest, using odd time signatures and time signature changes frequently. Employing a Cello, Timpani, and DJ, I think you could call them neo-classical mathcore? Maybe? I’d say Deluge Dirge or Frothy Waters are the only way to explain them
I do understand if you choose not to cover them, as Nintendo doesn’t play nice with copyright, and they’re weird as hell, but if you ever have some free time I’d say the songs and bands I listed are a good starting point.
Oh my god, I thought I was the only one who thought they gave off similar vibes
I like that you're starting to hear the songs referenced in unexpectancy 3, you might as well listen to that song once you've heard them all... I think it's four levels and the 2nd lap theme? okay looked it up. It features leitmotifs from "The Death That I Deservioli", "Cold Spaghetti", "Oregano Mirage" , "don't preheat your oven because if you do the song won't play" and "Tombstone Arizona".
He's already heard the second lap theme and I'm surprised he didn't mention the motif!

Thank you so much for the support! I appreciate it!
If u ever do more of these I suggest Tropical Crust, idk music terms so I’d describe it as the kinda thing you’d hear if u were to go to a party at the beach at night and the DJ would be jamming out to this
now all we need is oregano dessert, fast food saloon, all the boss themes, ancient cheese, and crumbling tower of pizza and most of the bangers will be done

btw the instrument at 10:38 is actually from warioware diy lol
hell yeah! tombstone arizona is one of the best, great choices all throughout the video too. Always love your way to analyze them x3
That's a clever way to do an auditory transition!
Tombstone Arizona’s so damn underrated. It makes you feel for the bloated corpses you surf upon.

Fun facts about each song:
Hot & Cold Spagetti: these are two sides of the same song, one is for the first part of the level, and the other is the other half (except you heard them in the opposite order)
Tombstone, AZ: Ironic name or not this is for the level "Wasteyard"
THOUSAND MARCH: for the WAR level in (cannot provide the world number) and this song always plays even in Lap 2 due to (Data Expunged)
One thing I love about a lot of these songs is how layered they are without sounding cluttered or any parts really overbearing each other.
The pizza tower song “Bye Bye There” is an absolute masterpiece and it is one of my favorites of the game
Tombstone Arizona is one of my favourite songs in the game and I loved your reaction to it!
you are so talented and insightful, and i am always happy to hear your insight and music, for pizza tower songs or whatever else. keep up the good work!
20:37 The first 90's gaming soundtrack that came to my mind with that synth guitar intro was Jazz Jackrabbit.
Pretty impressive that they made a whole video game just for this OST.
I am fully convinced that Mr.sauceman can make any style of music. The vibe all of the songs give, nail their job perfectly!
Your videos are really cool made! Your remake songs are also cool. Would be nice to see your reaction on these two songs from Pizza Tower: "Dungeon Freakshow", "Put On A Show!!"
I hope you will keep making content!
Trivia: Tombstone Arizona is a city in Southeastern Arizona, Texas. The last boomtown since the Wild West. Maybe the OST by Mr. Sauceman is a reminiscence of that ghost town.
