one of my all-time favorite songs, not just by her, but of all songs. Love it! I loved that it was in the move "Twister" too
Love the song . Always have. Most married couples I know never divorced. These are the ladies I asked that question to .(Or something like that.) Their answers were almost the same. While they were dating, there came a point at which the girl said to herself, "I'm going to marry this man. He is the one I want to have children with. He is the one I want to walk through life with. Some of the husbands said they had the same thoughts as well. I have NEVER married because I am still looking for that moment. I think more people should wait for that moment as well. I think that is the moment Shania is singing about. The moment she finds it and no one else needs to know about it yet because she is enjoying the moment.

I can tell you how it was for me, a woman of 72. Growing up, every young girl started planning her life from the first time someone asked “what do you want to do when you grow up” or when you saw your first bride. Real life was nothing like the plan... but the ability to dream is still there.

For some reason I use to have this song on my mp3, but I always skipped it. One day I was in the bus and I was too lazy to skip it. Then I heard the last part " In not lonely anymore at night". I almost cried in a packed bus. Yes, I'm a black woman, I don't listen to country music, but this is my favorite song of all time.

Shes plotting but in a good way. Shes saying that she is going to sweep him off his feet and make him fall in love with her. It's nice because it shows that shes the kind of lady who goes after the guy- she's definitely not expecting him or waiting for him to call her or ask her out- she's going to make the first move and let him know about her feelings when the time is right. I think that kind of assertive and forward approach can be very charming- shes a sensual liberated woman. For me, her confidence and assertiveness give the song swagger and charm. I love this song! I think this is more of a girl thing, even now. I know I had those thoughts about one ex as well as my husband while we were dating. I think this is something actually that you keep to yourself and don't put out on social media because you don't want other people to know how crazy you are... or him to scare off too fast because you're already ten steps ahead and looking at the future. I always figured that if I couldn't picture a future with a person, then they weren't the person for me.

@@randall-king I had the Twister soundtrack and I'm pretty sure he was listed in the liner notes there. He's got a unique and unmistakable voice and as a fan of his for decades I recognize his voice as soon as I hear it. Shania's ex-husband Robert "Mutt" Lange wrote it but didn't sing it with her.

This song is over 20 years old. You're right that people share larger amounts of personal stuff online these days.
