However, as someone who has struggled with other things mental health related, is it really okay for her to constantly blame her BPD? If you choose not to treat it, not to pursue therapy, not to seek help in any way, is it really acceptable to use it as a scapegoat? I understand taking time to treat and cope, but this has been years and years of the same behavior with no attempt to change. How do yall feel about this?
Agreed. Mental illness can definitely explain a lot of shitty behaviors in people, but it doesn't excuse them. If someone gets hurt, it doesn't matter the cause, they're still hurt, and that needs to be addressed. Adding to that, if someone *knows* they have a mental illness, actively decides not to seek treatment, and goes on to keep acting like a POS, they're just a POS. I said basically the majority of this in a comment the other day. Amber is manipulative and calculated, albeit mostly poorly. She does things with a purpose. She drops "subtle" hints about "gfs" cause she wants so desperately to show that someone likes her cause everyone else is a "hater". She knows certain things will be found out at some point cause she loves drama and attention. She said it herself, attention good or bad is attention and she wanted it anyway, and that is the most honest thing this gorl has ever said. She loves the drama and deliberately creates it. Plus why blame herself when she can then blame others for the outcome. She knew this situation would look bad and people would put things together, planned ahead by filming a break up video before the girl with 1000 names left for when it would be needed so they could "break up" for a 2nd/3rd time.
And the texts prove absolutely nothing. None of them are with this supposed "valentine" and could have all been part of the plan. I dont think Alexis introduced "Tommy", I think it's the other way around and Alexis is a product of "Tommy" and has been part of aiding in the cover-up.

Prefacing this by saying I don’t know anything about BPD besides what’s discussed on here. However, as someone who has struggled with other things mental health related, is it really okay for her to constantly blame her BPD? If you choose not to treat it, not to pursue therapy, not to seek help in any way, is it really acceptable to use it as a scapegoat? I understand taking time to treat and cope, but this has been years and years of the same behavior with no attempt to change. How do yall feel about this?
Agreed. Mental illness can definitely explain a lot of shitty behaviors in people, but it doesn't excuse them. If someone gets hurt, it doesn't matter the cause, they're still hurt, and that needs to be addressed.
Adding to that, if someone *knows* they have a mental illness, actively decides not to seek treatment, and goes on to keep acting like a POS, they're just a POS.
Maybe it's because I have a ton of mental illnesses due to really bad childhood trauma, but that kind of people get no sympathy from me. Everybody has the choice to break the cycle of abuse.

Well yes you do "struggle with bpd". And i'm not saying all people with bpd behave like this. But falling in love on a pin, lovebombing showing no respect for target love interests partners, manipulating, gaslighting when challenged or to keep you in your place, lying to cover up, monkey branching ie lining up the next person whilst in a relationship, cheating..are common.And turning the blame on others if the truth comes out. It was my experience of dating someone with bpd but it was only after the 3 year relationship when some of the other women gott in touch with me and we all had a fuller picture. If you go to any bpd group, many of the storiies sound the same. Sounds ike the player got played.
I hate that I do feel empathy for her when she cries. But then I remember how often she's lied, the horrible things she's done to people, the fact that she NEVER truly intended to lose weight on her weight loss channel.. then I don't feel as bad for her.
